Yeah the NRL investigates the Titans and the board investigates their own team, they move the coach and a whole heap of others that have been involved from the very start 8 years ago and it's panic stations all of a sudden :?

Again eels ... The reports are about how the AFL are growing on Gold Coast .... Kids playing AFL ... And AFL spending money on developing the game and the nrl not spending enough ... I think that's an important point for debate

add in the fact of 25 million in debt, the NRL paying the rent for the club after ASIC about to close the club down.
the low fan turn outs, even with freebes all year.
the titans are only a few games out side the 8 and was in top position on the ladder a few months ago.

several articles from high profile stating the titans are in trouble and have been for years & RL in general is in trouble :-k
it only proves the time and money the AFL has spent promoting the game in QLD is paying off

yet retarrds like you, crapper, dribble dick dave all beg to differ?
that only proves how f*****ing stupid you lot are.
keep believing the nurse when she taps you on the head claiming everything is ok :thumbleft:
the titan's are stuffed.

Can any of you tards explain (without saying oh that's not true) why millionaires are lining up to buy into the club...
I have posted proof & it gets ignored..
A habit that "HEAD UP YOUR ARSE " fumblers seem to have.

& They have cleared TCOE debt .so anyone who thinks they are gone is gone in the head.

I have read a small article about some Chinese I think expressing interest in the titans .... Now to say millionaires are lining up May be stretching things and indeed one article does not a summer make. But it is a good question, why would someone wealthy enough want to buy a sporting franchise that is struggling both financially and in support in a very fickle market. I would proffer this.

1. Wealthy people like to buy into sporting teams ... It's an apparent status symbol. Geoffrey eldeston springs to mind ... Buys into a very struggling swans in Sydney at the time . Paul Cronin and skase into the struggling bears. Palmer into Gold Coast soccer. So wealthy people buying into struggling sporting franchise is nothing new and indeed if you are struggling as a club you would grasp at any lifeline. Wealthier clubs may be more discerning.

2. I would say ... No one has brought in as yet ...if you are going to buy in maybe you'd do so when you see something that is down and out and you can rebuild it. If the titans can get their act together and the nrl lend support ... There's massive room for growth. Just as AFL are looking to Western Sydney for potential growth, possibly these same investors are also looking at the potential .....

So that's looking at the myopic focus of AFL crap ... Now maybe he can address the various posts asking about what is thought of those nrl people expressing concern over rl being potentially taken over by AFL on the gc. Of the growing number of youth turning to AFL. Of the lack of support the nrl give to development.

Let's see if any deflection occurs

Very pertinent thread considering the number of superficial posts on the subject.
There's facts and figures here and we know how we all like those and shun abuse.

Have you a source for that ,or as usual you just type whatever stupid thing comes to mind.

The option was to buy out Searle who owns 40% ...

So according to you that's a SMALL percentage.

& can you show me where anything about a tax write off is mentioned?

Do ever get tired of being wrong & shown up as clueless.

40% is not even half the club :)))

as the article says consortium of wealthy businessmen
if you know anything about business?, if you have a successful one, with a decent turn over, you can run almost anything you want off on tax with a decent set of accountants. but thats something you don't learn living on the dole in your parents basement.

if they where serious they would by the whole club or at least a decent amount. :thumbleft:

40% is a decent amount.
& How can you buy the lot if the other owners are NOT SELLING.

Darryl Kelly has a 34.4 per cent share while the remaining 25 per cent is held by Indian property tycoon Anshuman Magazine,

& LOL X 100 at you pretending to know about Business.

You cant even type a sentence without fucking it up.
