Still SOO is nothing but an exhibition match nothing more - a kid grows up in Victoria plays his whole life there gets into the NRL (I know very unlikely) and gets selected for SOO - ARL says well done son you can play for NSW or QLD- Kid - But I grew up in Vic I only want to play for my state - ARL sorry kid but we only have two states so you have to choose from - Kid - but it's SOO shouldn't I play for MY state - ARL - yeah just pick NSW or QLD after all SOO is just a name it's not really state against state that's why Greg Inglis plays for QLD even though he grew up in NSW it doesn't really matter or mean anything after all it's just a gimmick - kid - maybe I should have played AF where it does!!!!!

Just like baking a cake SOO I would imagine would be the icing - unfortunately it is fast becoming the whole cake - but I have no issue if that's your centre piece and the club competition is the supporting act - but don't have the hide to call it SOO when it clearly ISN'T!!!!! It may be the best in the world v the best in the world but by very definition if you have players in it born OS or interstate playing it's NOT SOO!!!!
