Most of those regional viewers where you stated get the main capital feed, I'm talking the few hundred k desert dwellers and you know it.

Youre wrong. The AFL regionals have been shown to be around 1/3 of metro, and the NRL about 2/3. I've proven this time and again in the TV ratings thread.

With the competition from the A-League derby, if Canterbury/Brisbane could only draw 18K without competition what hope did Manly/Melbourne have with? And as it turned out my fears were vindicated. The NRL has problems. But hopefully they will get some good crowds next weekend, especially at Allianz after that shock win the Eels had over the Warriors. The Roosters will be angry after being touched up by the Bunnies. I expect the Broncos to draw the biggest crowd of the round however.
