Is this the same Brown who was taken off the field after a facial injury,(he went down quicker than fumbler in a boxing ring).
Yet at around the same time Darren Lockyer had a worse injury, yet stayed onfied & won the game for his team.
Soft fumbler
see below.
The knee of Dockers defender Luke McPharlin crashed into Brown's face during a marking contest late in the third quarter and the bloodied,
battered and bruised Lions skipper was immediately taken to hospital.

Now for the NRL player
BRONCOS captain Darren Lockyer has vowed to take the field just five days after having surgery on a fractured cheekbone, despite warnings from medical experts his bravery could cost him his sight.
Lockyer fractured his cheekbone during his team's thrilling golden point win over the St George Illawarra Dragons on Saturday night.
He had three titanium plates inserted in his left cheek yesterday morning, but declared he would line up against the Manly Sea Eagles this Friday night.
"At this stage I will play on Friday," Lockyer told The Courier-Mail in a text message after his surgery.
"The plates they have put in will be enough to keep the cheek strong enough to play."
Lockyer's injury occurred when the knee of airborne teammate Gerard Beale smashed into the side of the skipper's head while contesting a high ball in the second half. Sydney Swans doctor Nathan Gibbs, who was the Australian Rugby League doctor for 10 years, said Lockyer's injury would typically take 4-6 weeks to heal.
"He is risking his eyesight by playing before his cheekbone is healed, because that exposes the orbital bone and the orbital bone is what keeps your eye in place," Dr Gibbs said.
So the fumbler stays down ,goes off & goes to hospital..
Nrl payer stays on & wins match ..
Does cwapper ever get anything right
I mean a broken clock is right twice a day.
Cwappers average would be twice a year.

I know league players need to work much harder on their strength and power. They also are more hardened for rough physical contact as their sport requires this.
Therefore they are generally tougher than AFL players
I'm given you an absolute pounding here cwapper, with facts and reason my friend, facts and reason. You, on the other hand are trashing the board with junk ass kiddie posts like
''You have no clue" , ''you have no idea how tough jonathan brown is'' , ''you don't know what youre talking about''
Cwapper? You aint in the same league as me bro.

I think AFL requires a more rounded athlete and can have various body types play. In both codes, players are at the top of the skill level required so both would be extreme athletes. I think the nrl players however are probably about 20 years behind where the AFL are re professionalism re training . Both nrl converts could not believe the level of training required in preseason. The exception would be storm where Bellamy has learnt a lot from his close association with AFL coaches, and from this other nrl clubs have copied. A bit like the AFL looks to the nfl for innovation. I think the sharing is good for everyone.

Oh dear. Members and guests I'd like you all to take a moment to consider phelpsy's mental state and support the poor lil fella. Apart from the obvious disconcerting massive stray off topic above, he's noted that he's
''not enjoying the site as much as he has in the past'' and that
''he may be leaving soon because of this''. This members and guests, along with this desperate and weird keenness to know about my family holiday, is a cry for help and I urge us all to gather around phelpsy in his time of need. Me and raider have both offered and provided tissues but he needs more.
Please take the time to publicly show your support or privately pm him with the same.
I'll get the ball rolling.
Phelpsy, you're one of the nicest simpletons I've had the pleasure of meeting. You're always around and trying your best. You make us laugh at you lots, you just say the darndest things. If you were a celebrity I'd say you'd be...Gilligan
And if I could bring you on family holidays to exotic islands I surely would, I hope you know that.
Keep on truckin Phelpsy!
Your pal, mentor and helper,
KE
