I think its fear more than anything.
The success of the RLWC had them foaming & frothing & resorting to straight out lies .
Now the 9s have sold out & the fear & Butt hurt continues.
When SOO gets here the fumblers will have to be on Suicide watch.

As RD said One trick pony .One domestic comp
That's all Derpball has.
We have the NRL comp.
9s.
SOO
Test matches.
RLWC .

Smell the fear .

ARs outgrew SOO.

As far as internationals.....the RLWC again demonstrated what a 1 horse race this is. Australia IS the RLWC, the other countries just make up the numbers.

You honestly think AFL fans would prefer a WC like this over a thriving national competition?

Yes ,absolutely.
By the amount of lies ,lies & more lies told about how big /popular/thriving /playing numbers etc the game is Overseas,by AFL house ,fans(Cos, Crapper ,the inmates at the big Looney international forum .Clarkey was my fave..)then yes im sure these nutters would sell their 1st born for any international credibility..

Well the vast majority of AFL supporters understand its a uniquely Australian game and are perfectly comfortable with it given the health and quality of the local product. Next youll claim NFL fans are desperate for an NFLWC

And America think they are the centre of the universe and couldn't care less if NFL is played overseas. The vast majority of AFL fans couldn't care if ARs is played overseas either.

Your biggest problem is you see one comment and think it represents the views of millions.

I think you are right. AFL people don't really care about international recognition , I for one would hate for a team from nz to play in the AFL. It's Australia's game for Australians ... Nothing wrong with that. I think all the bogans are heading off to supercar anyway with the worst Yobo element stuck to nrl. Let's face it, if AFL in Sydney attracts the middle to upper middle class, union attracts the middle to upper, then soccer gets a good mix if all with a strong migrant following as well, it is western Sydney that is left for the nrl ... Lower socio economic if you like. And regional qld ... Bogan central lol ... Well most of qld is bogan lol

Both supporter bases have their share of tragics. Doesn't mean they represent the majority.

All this acting nice was grinding my gears.

That post resembles plenty from you that I have seen at the roar (raah) and in newspaper comments.

That was to Phelpsy as xman always shows his hate for RL and doesn't hide from it.

Gets a little respect in my book for that.
