my argument is that it is a poor level of play. if it was worse than that 10 years ago i'd love to watch, need a laugh and the AFL IC GF video is getting reptitive.
more countries playing and by playing i mean sending over 20 guys, doesnt mean the quality is better. just means youve convinced more countries to grab the nearest sportsman give them a ball and plane tickets.

Well now your being condescending - I understand NRLcrap1's point - he's saying by excluding other countries from the competition instead of preferring the event your actually cutting off a pathway for developing country - it has merit. As for a country grabbing 20 sportsman saw a doco on how the USA team was picked for IC11 and it seems they did a lot of work just to assemble a team 6 months out from the cup - so your statements are ignorant!

im saying that no one plays your shitty sport out of australia and your made up growth numbers where you force kids at schools to run around with a ball for an hour doesnt mean you have international presence. thus, since no one plays it, any international game is of an exceedingly poor standard.
that's fair to plan it 6 months in advance, i mean you might as well spend a month or so book flights, another month or two teaching them how to kick and catch (poorly) and another month on how to bounce the ball.
no one cares -> shit quality of play.

IDIOT! There's a difference between someone not caring and someone who's skills are still fricking developing!!! These aren't players who have the benefit of top level training like those who play in our development system in the top junior grades in our state leagues!!
Look at the International board again. There are COMPETITIONS in New Zealand, England, Canada and the United States and that's from what I remember!! There are bound to be more that I've missed!

NO ONE PLAYS AF OUTSIDE Australia - well is that you saying as a general statement or a specific statement? Obviously even on your You tube posts they do - whilst it is accepted that the numbers MAY be disputable there can be no doubt these overseas clubs and leagues exist - so again it makes your statements wrong and ignorant!

'no one' is obviously hyperbole. im sure theres a few randoms who do, but the ACTUAL numbers are miniscule. not these BS numbers AFL uganda or AFL lichtenstein comes out with.

again you misunderstand. I said the people of that country as a whole do not care. not the players themselves. it's like i dunno curling in australia. no one cares, thus the standard of our international curlers is poor. not to say those people who do it in australia don't care, just the country doesnt care.
in the same way, no one cares about AFL internationally so the quality of play is poor. very few, if any, are paid and this indicates an amateur competition that lacks any interest.

No argument OS are small in comparison to other sports most probably the smallest of ANY sport - but just so we are clear you are concerning that your earlier statement was a generalisation and there is an AF presence OS albeit very small and consequently there are those that care about AF OS?

What a pathetic analogy! ALL winter sports are crap in Australia because we don't have the conditions to suit it! Practical fact!
Hell if we want to judge on caring, by your analogy no one cares about rugby league in SA, WA and Tasmania! So much for your so called national code!! Or are you going to use some sense for a change and withdraw the analogy as bullshit and against the facts? And admit that YOU don't understand!

if the IC format is so good. why, even after 10 years, do you get shithouse crowds at a shithouse game before regular season games for the GRAND FINAL of the IC in AUSTRALIA?

not even the AFL or the players take it seriously many of the players in the past have made them self unavailable for selection. its a shit cross over and should be shelved

I'd be embarressed too & want it scrapped If I was supposed to be an elite athlete & continually got shown up by Amateurs ,who kindly take time out of their spud picking schedule to touch up the derpballers.
