How many places are bidding/pushing to get a team in the NRL?

How many places are doing the same for AFL?

AFL is growing around the globe, goose! RL can't even grow in Australia!

Rl has just entered a PNG team in the QCUP.
AFL has um um um....

AFL has at least two teams in every state except tassie. Tassie are always pushing for a team. The nrl only has one team in the second major market city and struggles in the Gold Coast. I can't believe you're comparing the expansion of AFL to nrl .. The nrl are at least 20 Years behind. Hopefully the nrl will get their act together though soon and expand to Perth and put another team in Brisbane ... The Perth team will need backing from the nrl long term however and if the use the suns on the Gold Coast as a model and grow a team so that the locals can grow with the team hopefully they do well.

simply because it is a very poor product that the locals will never be interested in
