Really , swans home ground games are less then some nrl crowds ... I did not know that. Is that comparing after 5 rounds? The question will be whether this is the case after the season ends?

Xman ... Never get into an arguement with idiots ... You lower yourself to their level and they have much more experience at level :). You know the facts ... They are there to see. What you are saying about averages is quite correct , you add two lower crowd pulling teams into the mix ... That pull lower than than overall average, of course the average goes down . I don't even think metricon holds the AFL average. Why argue with KE and Dave... You could say black and they will argue white. If KE and Dave fail to understand basic concepts regarding statistics do you really feel you will be able to educate them? The AFL is going well as we know , they need to believe it isn't so they will scratch and scratch to find negatives .... Look at the thread on pre game entertainment and Anzac etc. I appreciate you're giving the dog a bone but so very funny ... Just can't believe how stupid they can be ... And on a public forum . Anyways , AFL is going badly , crowds are worst ever, ratings terrible and no one is buying memberships lol.

Thats one of the things I find the most amusing is that I should be worried about a Sydney team after one year in the competition. I still dont get that, GWS are there for the long term, even if their crowds for the next ten years average 6k.

apologises for including 'southerners' lol...
the thing i was trying to get at is the swans have no issues in sydney as they actually feel like a 'sydney' team and AFL supporters should not feel the need to 'fight' tro proove this, the other team the AFL plodded in western sydney/canberra is another story all together...

It would probabaly be good for the AFL to have a team really fail just to see what they do. Personally I dont really care if GWS and GC fail it wont any way affect me. I feel that GC would be more of an issue long term then GWS simply due to the small population on the gold coast.

Hahaha, not only are the midgets killing Vfl in Sydney, they're dragging the swines down with them.

Remember when all the vic-trihards kept saying the swines were the biggest club in NSW on attendances alone?

What happened? You now are not only behind the Bulldogs, you're also behind Souffs and easts of all teams.

1) By season's end you really think the Swans won't still be the highest drawing team in Sydney again?
2) Let me see if I have this straight. The Swans, an AFL team in nRL heartland, have a lower average attendance after 2 games - one of which was in pouring rain against the gold coast - than 3 nRL teams in nRL heartland, and this is a source of pride for you? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Let me summarise my condescension at your 'wonderous achievement' with the following questions:

The Swans had 20k against the Gold Coast Suns in pouring rain. Do you honestly believe that Souths, Centerburry or the Chickens would get a crowd of 20k against the Titans in similar conditions?
The Swans' 2nd game of the season was the 4th highest crowd in Sydney this season. They still have the Grand Final rematch and games against richmond, Essendon, Collingwood and Carlton.
Do you think, in the next 20 years, the Melbourne Storm would get the 4th highest crowd in Melbourne? Do you think they'd ever get the 50th biggest crowd?

Finally, here, have a gif commemorating your victory:
