We all know beaussie is a deceipful dishonest online goose. Do you think I didnt know he'd jump in and deny the truth when i posted that last post Xman you confused buffoon?

"you can see them on tv" Oh Xman, you certainly have lost many braincells since you came on this site. I know they're 'fans' who pay you dimwit, I'm just informing you of the knowledge and passion these chardonnay sipping weekenders have for the game, it's basically nothing, they dont even know the players names nor the rules of the game and they think the umpire is called a "ref" Its just the way it is up here matey. Not too dissimilar to those who follow the storm down there id imagine
Hell Xman, I'll acknowledge you prob know more of the AFL than I do, you've caught me out several times with incorrect terminolgy such as "the bench", I just know more about how the game is played and skills than you because i play the game each week.

And as for you beaussie. No, i wouldnt say im a bandwagon RL supporter. I went to the eels tigers game last year when eels were already soaring towards the bottom of the ladder, no build up there champ. No I'd say I'm more a mix of the hardcore supporter who knows the game inside out and the 'sydney weekender' I speak of who likes to go to the game when there's nothing else going on on the weekend. I'll still watch a shitload of RL games on the tele each year, many more than in comparison to marngrook.
They boo when appropriate, cheer when appropriate, applaud when appropriate. They take up expensive memberships and attend games.

I would call them good supporters, Chardonnay sipping or not

KE's been to more AFL games than nRL games over the last decade? =D>

Can't blame you KE, it's just a much better sport to watch. Good on you.

so he speaks with authority when he says

that the vast majority of swines crowds are bandwagoners who really don't care for the game , really know nothing of it
& at a chance of almost anything else interesting on

won't bother going to it

hence Saturdays embarrasing turnout

yeah, they don't care for the game, they just buy expensive memberships and turn out in huge numbers no matter when the date or what the weather.

Something NRL fans could learn in their own heartland

Cheers dave, you're right, i and the knowledgeable swans fans know the vast majority of supporters at the game are those who include all the points below:

1. Dont have a good understanding of the rules.
2. Dont know more than 3 players names.
3. Go to games because they have little else to do on the weekend.

And Xman the chardonnay set have cash, they could afford a thousand memberships every year if they pleased. They're just their for status and because they feel league is a "bit working class" so they feebly follow the softer contact sport, because they think its a game which more gentlemen play, simply because they are unawares of more than half the horrific disgusting things some AFL players have done in the past due to sydney media not bothering.

I got the authority on matters here Xman, you got no clue what its really like up here champ.

Yet they are willing to go to the AFL to watch their team no matter what the conditions. SOmething NRL fans in Sydney as a rule do not do. Which is the real fan? :-k

At least 13k turned up didnt they, despite having to pay for an away game that was predicted to be a thrashing.

Isnt that more than many NRL crowds in total?
