True fans expect proper facilities. If they don't get it, they won't go. Fact.

Real fans go no matter what the negative. Poor fans just make excuses.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. My poor deluded little fool. Who has the best venues in the country? The AFL. THAT is why they have better crowds!

Doesn't explain why the swans get more crowds at stadium Australia.

Also, a number of AFL teams get higher crowds at the MCG than under the roof at Etihad. Both are in the city meaning most fans have to travel more than one suburb

Your excuses are pathetic! When the storm played at their first dilapidated stadium they had similar crowds to now. NRL fans complained they didn't get better crowds because of the stadium. The they moved to Etihad and still had shit crowds despite being at the same venue as the AFL and a league with far better crowds. Then YOU complained the security was nasty yet theyre the same security for every game. Then they were given a purpose built rectangular stadium and still haven't hd better crowds. YOU and only you complained it was the poor cover from weather. Yet even on fine days they get shit crowds.

Seriously, youre even more stupid than most NRL fans. The excuses have to stop! Start filling your existing grounds, get more revenue from gate receipts, and upgrade your stadiums! Why the hell would the NRL upgrade stadiums when the fans don't come now?

X, of course there are bigger crowds at the MCG than Etihad! It's got a bigger capacity by something like 40K!!

The Storm started at Olympic Park. That was a hole and you couldn't get close to the game because of the athletics track! Etihad would have worked if it hadn't been for THEIR security, hired by that dickhead CEO who didn't want us there! That's when we lost supporters when the numbers would have increased otherwise! AAMI Park, while better than Olympic Park, still doesn't make the grade for a venue that's good enough! And even on fine days you get the wind howling through so don't give me that shit! The design of the place allows for wind to whip up the place like a concentrated wind machine!

Hey QLD! If that's memberships, who gives a shit like I said!

Plenty of fans? As Xman said, real fans turn up no matter what. At the moment the broadcasters of the nRL need to have microphones set up on the boundary so you can hear the crowd better! No such problems in the AFL though.

Every sport has crowd effect microphones like that! Real fans want to stay healthy. Only idiots go no matter what. Would you go to a match during a hailstorm? Don't answer "Yes" because that would show how stupid you are.

Been to plenty of games in the rain. I love going to the game to support my club. Never heard of any game played during a hailstorm? AFL fans are put simply more passionate about their club and game.

Oh dear, a team that finished last in the AFL and is apparently (if you believe the leaguies here) hated by many in west Sydney, already has more members than the NRL premiers in sports mad Melbourne. That's hilarious indeed. :(/ :(/ :(/

Go Giants!!!

And less healthy as a result, and can't go back to work on Monday. Dumb.

Um, please explain. You've lost me with that statement. Is that why Melbourne Storm crowds are so abysmal? Fans can't go back to work on Monday? #-o

Lol no the don't! I've been to plenty of football and cricket matches and have never seen a guy standing holding a mic like that before. nRL crowds must just be quiet... and non existent.

How often are there hailstorms in the first place? lol. If people wanted to go to a match during a hailstorm, then that shows they are extremely dedicated to watching their team, passion at its finest. That does not exist in the nRL, except for a few people like Brandz.

Because they caught a chill from being in the rain and ended up sick!!

Stewie, if they don't have effects microphones at AFL matches how the hell can we hear the crowd? Do me a favour!
