The NRL said nothing about the Cowboys. The Cowboys hung themselves. Good for the ACC to correct them because illicit drugs are just as important in this whole thing as PED's. According you and the AFL they aren't.

Wrong. PEDs corrupt the entire comp and diminish its integrity. Illicit drugs are more about responsibility and image.

Essendon have been under investigation for longer than the sharks, yet no charges have been laid or players banned. In fact they grow more confident they did nothing wrong every day.

In fact, even if they are found guilty ASADA has already indicated that the players may be fine if they can prove they did everything possible to ensure they took approved substances. They did this by signing consents

ASADA officials confirmed to the Bombers that the World Anti-Doping Agency code provided for a ''get-out clause'' in exceptional circumstances, but also that strict penalties would still apply in most cases. WADA's code specifies that if an athlete can prove ''in an individual case that he or she bears no fault or negligence, the otherwise applicable period of ineligibility shall be eliminated''.

Danks lasted 6 months at Essendon.
