They have already stated what they have been told! and its great news given the scope of the report. But it really sucks for the NRL thats for sureStriker wrote:Protecting the product so they can make money out of the pre season competition. Make sense now? Or are you going to continue to be the AFL sucker you are? They won't lie. They'll just say nothing!

Oh dear you poor pitiful sucker. You're in for a big fall when the police come out with a raft of charges against AFL players and clubs in a few weeks. They could be laughing at you right now for all you know!

id say the person who thinks the deputy CEO of a billion dollar business would lie about the results of an official investigation when the results are just beginning to be disclosed

Yes he would lie, or not have the full information in front of him because the rest of them are covering the real problem up!

Re: NRL - drugged up cheats abound!
Please explain why the AFL would lie about a report when the details are known to the ACC and their direct opposition the NRL!Striker wrote:Yes he would lie, or not have the full information in front of him because the rest of them are covering the real problem up!

Don't you think the NRL or the ACC might say BS?!

Re: NRL - drugged up cheats abound!
No they wouldn't, until the cops reveal all. I would certainly let them hang themselves!
Re: NRL - drugged up cheats abound!
The ACC said the guilty parties could out themselves. Essendon did. The AFL confirmed theres only one more player.Striker wrote:No they wouldn't, until the cops reveal all. I would certainly let them hang themselves!
Oh shiiiiiiiit, poor NRL.

How do you know this? A hunch? The old football injury playing up? The tea leaves? Your horoscope?Striker wrote:And there's more to come from the AFL, if they are all about the truth!
I believe the ACC via the AFL, not you

I believe the ACC direct, not via anyone let alone the AFL.
You believe what you want to believe, sucker.
You believe what you want to believe, sucker.
Re: NRL - drugged up cheats abound!
Well good luck with that since the ACC arent saying anything and the NRL will be telling their story in a few days. Will you believe them?Striker wrote:I believe the ACC direct, not via anyone let alone the AFL.

Re: NRL - drugged up cheats abound!
You've not read the report. The AFL has. To believe that they would lie about an official federal police report, when the details of that report are to be released by each code in a matter of days, is batsh*t crazy.Striker wrote:And there's more to come from the AFL, if they are all about the truth!
You use the term 'truth' to describe facts that haven't been released to the public yet, so you couldn't possibly know what is truth and what is not. You're using the word 'truth' to describe things that you simply desperately want to be true.
But words are wind, and this is all pointless. In the first half of this week the ACC and the codes in question will disclose exactly who has been accused of what. Then we'll all know the 'truth', and you can stop wishing for the AFL to be implicated as much as your quaint little league, and start posting about how the Government is pro-VFL, and that the Victorian Police are covering it all up for the VFL, and that the nRL is being unfairly targeted, etc etc.
