You guys were talking about the AFL before though, so why mention something that occurred in a lower grade? Can't keep it to an AFL-nRL discussion now can you?

nRL is king..... of on (and off) field controversy.

Yep, millions love Rugby Leagues weekly soap opera.

Even fools like you lot here can't go a day without clicking on a RL link to see what's been happening.

Fear stewie, you, xman and cuzzytom666 have it

So its grandfinal day in the AFL and the renowned brownlow medallist takes the field to the cheers of hometown fans. 3 minutes in the poor bastards block is knocked off from foul play, leaving their team without the best goalkicker in the league. Said team loses the match by 3 points.

As I've said before. It's worth cheating in the AFL [-X
and the offender misses half the next season.... [-X

try again KO

So how often does someone deliberately knock out another person as a tactic in any game, let alone a grand final which would just tarnish that players reputation forever? Acts of thuggery are only seen in the nRL, where they use tactics such as poking fingers up the opponents arse and biting the oppositions ear. Dirty game that nRL [-X
bingo. KOs scenario never occurs. Its all in his imagination

I would if I watched your game, but I don't so I can't. Doesn't mean it can't or won't happen.

Most games with rules have a hard enough time policing everything, I couldn't imagine what it would be like for a "sport" with no rules.

What do the Judiciary do, have a piss up each week at their annual get together?

well it hasnt hence a send off rule in the AFL has been raised before but never introduced. Its just plain unnecessary.

So says Big Bad Bazza

Let off to help the swines win/lose (don't care and don't remember if they won) a GF after knocking an opponent out senseless who wasn't looking with a king hit to the face.

Barry's king hit was anything but a tactic. He had anger problems and this was well known within the football community.

Hoppa putting his finger to dirty use was a tactic and he even admitted it.

So you concede it could happen?

Well done stewie, you are at least a point above xman in seeing that these things can happen.

Could with an anger outburst. However this would not be a tactic as was the point that you and KE were trying to make. Barry is now retired anyway after playing in 3 grand finals with "tactical knockouts".
