Broncos 25,175 .... about 22,000 in Qld
Swans 22,000.... about 14,000 in NSW

not even close
Last I checked they didn't offer single game memberships too! #-o
what do you think a fridge magnet membership costs for the 8K non NSW members ....
answer
about the same as the $35 Derby game memberships for the Broncs

Broncos > Gooses

What? The Melbourne based Sydney members go to the games they play in Melbourne, not just a single game or unticketted!

I see the games down in Melbourne. I have been to the games. There are many Melbourne base swans fans. They are ticketed for games in Melbourne.

Dear Beaussie,

I'd like to offer a bet to you on the GWS vs Swans game on March 24.

As per your comments of a few months back I'd like to bet against you on your statement the game will be a sellout. You will pay me $100 and you will wear a 4 mth avatar of my choice if the game is not a sellout.

You on?

Regards,
King

 The tsunami has definitely passed.

But Raider I'm predicting the crowd to be close to 50k for this one if the weather is fine and balmy. Our footy club has only recently sent the message out to all players to head to the game. So I'm thinking a lot of others will be buying up tiks in the next week. And as I said, if its fine weather the token sydney siders will roll on out in force. Although it is at homebush, which token supporters tend to shy away from... Still i stand by my bet. 50k if fine, 36k if rainy.

Good luck to the both of you punks in putting your hide on the line...although beaussie should count himself very lucky indeed with the bet he's got. [-X

You're just as stupid as dave. The Sydney media use the term tsunami the AFL did not. Yet now use the term against the AFL and it's supporters as if they used it, and to show the club is not meeting expectation. Yet these expectations were falsely introduced by the Sydney media.

Xman hows about you shut yo lilly ass yappin pie eater. You and beaussie whole heartedly follow and eat up the propaganda of the media in relation to the tsunami. Time and time again the pair of you make foolish comments based on the hype of innacurate media sensationalising. So, I'll associate the tsunami with the pair of you, and cos, who believes the tsunami is spreading across the world at a rapid and unfathomable rate , whenever I want...because... its valid to do so.

You got that biatch?

I have said all along that the giants will probably average around 15k attendance and 10k members in their first year, which is hardly a tsunami! What do you think? Sounds about right?

Having said that this level would be above a number of NRL clubs including their only expansion team in an AFL state, the storm.

Agree. Well done to the AFL for securing the future of the game by introducing clubs in new markets to drive up the TV rights deal.

The AFL made their first loss in 10 years last year by funding the foundations for the giants and suns including their stadiums. But they also effectively created 2 new teams that will have minimal overhead costs and should be financially Independant in a short amount of time, especially going by the success of the suns in their first year. =D>
