**** Note the use of "AFL" here , not "AR". Exactly the same as the the Newcastle thread.

Parraeels has provided a wealth of information which is relevant to what we all would understand constitutes "big" in terms of sport and in particular 'professional' sport. Once a game is professional, I think we can fairly safely say it is seen as much "bigger" than a game which is played for 'kicks', pardon the pun.

In relation to the wealth of info parra provided, he also asked NSWAFL to provide relevant information relating to Aussie Rules. Lil nswafl didnt answer that though, he provided a lil list with some facebook pages for us to visit Professional indeed

Provide the 3000 comps in Britain, bub, or you lose. 63 countries play AFL outside of Australia (Facebook is evidence so don't laugh at it and it was only three countries anyway) and there is no way that British RL could be 50 times bigger! NO WAY KNOWN!!

I think the littlest NSW fan should get 2 BS points for the way he has not played this BS file, he deserves the AFL mob to punish him for I think purposely putting them on the back foot in regards to this new BS file thing.

There are many more players than that playing AFL outside of Australia.

PLUS he needs to show comparative figures for the ARs outside of Australia.

Yep, that's right. After all, how can HE claim a figure like 50times if he doesn't know how big ARs is outside Australia.

If he made the claim without knowing the size of both codes then his claim was clearly BS in the first place!!

Bigger does not simply refer to the numbers of clubs. The money they make, the earnings of players and all the other variables parra came up with such as crowd figures also clearly indicate the code is bigger. I do understand the numbers thing so I'd say the better avenue here is to look at crowd figures (i know you AFL mob love and respect these) and Topper must demonstrate international AFL clubs draw equal or more fans to games.
