Wrong! We play in more countries than rugby league do! And it will expand in those countries!

It'll take at least a generation, but eventually someone will be strong enough to take on an Australian team. I'm thinking it'll be either New Zealand or Ireland.

You don't have other pockets of support outside Australia, once it goes here, it's gorrrrrrrrrrrrrrne.
How will the strongest richest code in Australia die exactly?

Well its already dead outside Australia.

Actually that would require it to be played outside Australia first and that hasn't happened.

It doesn't have to be professional to be played. As long as it's an organised competition with a home and away season and finals.

cooee has a valid point that one measure or performance indicator is the number of semi-pro leagues.
of course cooee is not suggesting that this the norm for rl O/S.
In all the other KPIs Australian Football overseas is doing well.

Total number of participants, clubs, team and leagues.
Number of female participants, clubs, team and leagues.
Number of junior participants, clubs, team and leagues.
Number of Auskick participants, clubs.
Number of recreational offshoots like oztag and IR.
Number of countries playing Australian Football.
The standard of Australian Football in countries playing Australian Football.
The amount of media attention including TV, in countries playing Australian Football.
The number and quality of international competitions.
The amount of private sponsorship both here and abroad.
The amount of government sponsorship both here and abroad.

And yes, some leagues have charged spectators but not on a regular basis to my knowledge.
Give it time and it might happen.
The next decade will be very interesting for AR overseas.
Nice try Cos.

Don't give cooee that point, Cos. He'll run with it as far as he can, and so will the other dreamers who refuse to admit we have a foothold O/S.
