ah..... 2.5 Million
wombat ... check the coverage maps from oztam
ova half of the regional population of WA & SA are included in the metro ratings for Perth & Adelaide
hell.... even Melbourne has a catchment of ova 4.5 Million .. it stretches all the way down past & including Geelong
it would struggle to be 1.25 Million
nice try .. but another fail
Hmm cool story bro.
Tasmania are 500k. There are 1.6 million in regional Victoria so that's another 1.1m outside the oztam.
The entire WA and SA are NOT included in those figures. NT is not covered either.
tassie's figures are not 90K for a final ( thats up near GF ratings ) .... most finals I saw for tassie on regionaltam are around 60K
they aren't included in these figures .... but please feel free to add the 60K
so the 90K while being on the low side , remember ratings were down everywhere , the AFL was awfully lop sided & uninteresting in 2011.... is about right for a population catchment of between 1.25 Million & 1.5 Million thats left
again
embrace the truth .... it will free you from your torment

Tasmania rated 141k for the 2011 GF and 101k for the collingwood prelim final.
Tasmania are only 1/4 of the regional population in AFL heartlands not included in the 5 city figures. Times 100k by 4 and you get a better idea of what the ratings should be.
Pfffft 90k total. What a joke

Exactly, finally we agree. All the regional tam figures are rubbish!
Interestingly the collingwood prelim final rated 1.4 mil for the 7million city folk in Mel,Adel,Perth (20%) yet only 170k regionals were added on your list. Yet Tasmania alone rated 100k, again at 20%
So did the rest of SA,WA,Vic,snsw get a blackout for 3 hours?
Seriously the figures are absolute shit!

seriously what kind of wombat are you
the collinswart prelim final did not rate 1.4 Million in the metro .. it was just ova 1.3 Million
leaving about 270K for the regionals .... about 21% of the metro numbers ... funnily enough ... the same % of the population of the regional areas of the AFL states not included in the Metro figures .... a quite accurate figure one would think
& I think you've highlighted that the NRL figures for regional NSW .. the ACT & QLD are vastly underestimated
based on 140K watching the flogball GF in tassie ... out of just 500K
so nearly 30% of the population
yet the ratings for the NRL GF in the League mad regional areas of NSW .. QLD & the ACT was just 1.151 Million
out of a population of 5.5 Million
please .. we're to believe this
I'd say it would have been about 30% too
so 1.6 Million
yep .... looks like we're way under what the real audience for our GF would have been
I'd say all our figures are way under too
well done for highlighting this ..........

No, it neglected the telecast on 7 mate.
I brought up this point before. Multichanneling by 7 and 10 have muddied the waters because the alternative channel is often not included. Oztam regularly exclude 1hd. There were a number of articles in the media claiming a drop in AFL ratings which were shown later to have excluded all digital channels.
