The fact is the AFL don't need to change the scheduling of their GF. They still win the TV ratings easily. They can afford to leave the game in its traditional time slot of Saturday afternoon. They don't need the extra a ratings and possible extra TV revenue.

So you're quoting the proven flawed regional numbers. What was the evenly counted 5city ratings result? You know, the ones that assess the same population and heartland for both games?Raiderdave wrote:come closeIntentcity wrote:The only time you've come close to beating the AFL GF is when the Storm are playing, they can't make it every year.![]()
we pound you when our Victorian team gets on the park on GF day
but even if they don't
AFL GF ...3.418 Million with Collingwood playing
NRL GF 3.351 Million with no Storm ... No Brisbane .... No Parramatta .. Dragons .. Tigers or Bulldogs
I'd say thats pretty close
& I thought Melbournians don't like the Storm
is beaussie a wind bag w@nker then ?![]()

Of course he hasn't. Because it doesn't exist.Xman wrote:Oh and Raiderdave, have you found any other high rating show that is scheduled deliberately in the middle of the day to improve ratings yet? Hahahahaha!

I've got the answer. You're the one struggling with the concept that all shows in the middle of rate worse than in prime time. That's why they call it PRIME TIME.Raiderdave wrote:Topper wrote:Of course he hasn't. When are the shops open? Saturday day time or Sunday night?
Its really not hard.
No shows are deliberately scheduled in the middle of the day to maximize ratings. Have you found evidence to the contrary?
The thing you don't understand is that both codes GFs will have a proportion of "occasional" audience. These people will tune in to watch a program because they are home to do so. That proportion would be multiple multiple times higher in prime time compared to midday.Raiderdave wrote:gee ... anything but watch the viccky kicky GF then eh ?Xman wrote:No, people prefer play sports like tennis, golf, surfing, hatching, diving.........in the daylight!!Raiderdave wrote:
