Maybe that's where the NRL will be in five years time, AFL Warrior. On the Comedy Channel.

the discrepency in the " total" membership numbers was an " oversight , with some clubs incorrectly reported .. the Raiders being one "
everything else was double checked
gospel .. is the rest

Dear AFL boys how is it going explaining the vast difference between claimed AFL membership eg Richmond 42k, and somewhat lower average home crowds like 40% and thats assuming no one from the opposition shows up.

Nationwide support for the club is the explanation.

So the Topper "theory" is that people buy Richmond membership for games that they will never go to. That makes perfect sense.

Yes it does, because that is true support. Something that NRL clubs don't have a clue about. I'm not surprised you do not understand this concept.

Dear Topper you are dead right as there is no way I will understand why someone would pay for something they had no intention of using. Of course I dont believe it either. Why cant the AFL crew simply acknowledge that the definition of AFL membership" is a pretty broad one and relates to more than fully ticketed members.
