Particularly as they are unable to get access to the series that they would want; State of Origin. Nine has a lock on that and can't be part of the negotiations.

Dear Topper if you think NZ is rugby league heartland then your knowledge of the world is even less than what one might think. You may have heard of the All Blacks - they play Rugby Union which is the main sport in NZ

On these boards League heartland has been defined as any place where League is well more supported than AFL. NZ = League heartland folks.
