Likewise Foxtel in Australia when they state they consider Rugby League to be a "downmarket product" compared to the jewel in Australian sports broadcasting... the AFL.Topper wrote:Sky New Zealand have already set the precedent in interest, from a country that is supposedly RL heartland.

Particularly as they are unable to get access to the series that they would want; State of Origin. Nine has a lock on that and can't be part of the negotiations.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

Dear Topper if you think NZ is rugby league heartland then your knowledge of the world is even less than what one might think. You may have heard of the All Blacks - they play Rugby Union which is the main sport in NZ

Talk to the other supporters here, enarelle. They are saying something very different.

On these boards League heartland has been defined as any place where League is well more supported than AFL. NZ = League heartland folks.

And I keep on saying "Who gives a fck about a bunch of sheep shaggers in NZ"! AFL is for Australians! Anything else is foreign garbage and is not Aussie! NRL is for traitors to this great nation!
Re: Why dosent State of Origion sell out in Sydney
Well almost right. AFL is for slightly less than half the Australians.

That is hardly a reliable source.King-Eliagh wrote:On these boards League heartland has been defined as any place where League is well more supported than AFL. NZ = League heartland folks.

No the definition is how we here have argued it for months now. So in this context it is correct. Do you have any inkling of where you are Topper me lad? You're all over the shop and I just hope you havent taken to masturbating animals with that delinquent AFL 'Warrior'
