really, because 50 odd from Tasmania - which is below the average for Tassie Fridays - will still give the win to the AFL.
50 odd in Tassie...................bahaha

2 Mediums of broadcasts and the AFL still come out behind....  :_<> :_<> :_<>
Read the fucking Regional TAM figures and weep.

And wtf do you call NZ Pay TV and Nine? Not only are you using two mediums but two countries...and you still lose.
NZ is Pay tv only...........Imagine FTA (game over).................you are still behind after 2 mediums deal with it mate....

50k in Melbourne?

Wow the NRL is making a dent in Victoria seeing as there was no storm and it was up against an interstate prelim AFL final featuring a Melbourne team.

There may be hope for some Mexicans yet.

The storm are a lot younger than the swans by over 100 years, the swans when they moved still had fans in various places around the country, you are not comparing like with like on any level whatsoever as usual.

There was no Vic team in the NRL last night and going against a live prelim AFL game into Victoria, 50k in my opinion is a great figure, you're living in fear.

How many pubs and restaurants did you check out to see who was watching what and how did you manage to keep up with all the fumbles and bumbles while you were traipsing all over the joint looking for the best place to eat drink and watch fumbles and bumbles with fellow liars like yourself?

Didn't rothfield post an article last week or the week before about how he had dinner at a pub in Balman and they were showing a Tigers game in 1 room and the Swans in the other

Swans room was packed to the rafters, standing room only

Tigers had 1 guy taking a nap infront of the TV

....or something like that

ill vouch for that as i did live on the sunny coast for a year & still take regular trips down to noosa way to visit friends and fellow co workers who work up in the mines in CQ.

it is more AFL than NRL.
just because you choose to watch NRL at your local, doesnt mean everyone else in aus does the same :thumbleft:

Funny I went to Ballina RSL recently and they had both NRL and AFL playing at the same time. NRL on a big screen and AFL on a smaller one and the trots or something. In an Eastern suburb RSL in Melb it was ONLY AFL - says it all really!

Funny I went to the Crown Casino in AUG last yr .& in the bar they had the NRL(think it was NEWC V CRO) on the tvs behind the bar & The AFL on the other screens.
More people were watching the NRL..
True story.
There were about 30 people in the bar & 20 were watching RL.
Does that mean anything ..Prob not,as there is a big screen on the other side of the Casino showing Fumbles & about 40 people were in the room watching.
It shows that clubs will cater to all patrons ,but it makes for good stories for the derpers.
