Friday 6 July
SEVEN’S AFL: FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Seven 1,836,000 696,000 46,00
Seven scored another easy Friday win. Adelaide won over Brisbane in a close game of Friday Night Footy with main channel coverage in Queensland helping deliver an average near 700k, up almost 90k week-on-week.
FRIDAY NIGHT NRL LIVE Nine 1,185,000 502,000 68,000
The Dolphins clashed with the Dragons for a 50-point win in Friday NRL that was lucky to top 500k for the lowest result this year. Nine’s main channel schedule in AFL markets including Find My Country House Australia failed to make an impact.

Normal transmission has resumed on Thursday and Friday nights with the AFL dominating the NRL.

Good on ya beatup!!! You've come out of witness protection to publish TV ratings that the NRL wins. Well done pal. I suspect the heat I recently put on you has worked and you are now trying to be more balanced on this wonderful site of yours.
I will continue to work on your dear friend Sooky to see if he can follow suit. Alas and alack I fear he is too far down the AFL activism, propaganda and misinformation rabbit hole to be saved. But like the true believer that I am I will continue to try.
Have a great day Beaty!!!!

so
the derps & misses put on 3 games on a Sunday on FTA & get 865K watching them total
the NRL puts .... 1 game on FTA on Sunday & gets 511K total
& your analysis of that is
Drongoball is watched by more Australians

I mean theres a difference of interpretation of the data.
as far as average audienccs go, NRL fans have at it.,
as far as reach audience and most watched, AFL dudes have a point. reach indicates more people watch for a period of time, however small that may be - this is also true on Fox from the data we know.

That's just your AFL activism speaking Sooks. The actual experts in the broadcast industry (of which you are not) recognise average as the rolled gold standard for TV ratings. They've been using it for decades and will continue to do so.
You know this. The experts know it. Every sensible person knows it. Only AFL activists and propagandists like yourself argue for reach. You know its right but your bias will never let you admit it.
