Fri STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLHawksSwans 349k

Fri STV #NRL #FoxSports #NRLCowboysBroncos 262k

Totals:

NRL 1.116m for 1st v 2nd

AFL 1.328m for 3rd v 6th

Hawks vs Swans has been the biggest clash for the last 5 years in the AFL, what the hell you talking about..

Fri TV #NRL #NRLCowboysBroncos Nine 493k (Syd 232k Bri 261k) Gem 33k (Mel 18k Ade 7k Per 9k) STV #FoxSports 262k

NRL Reg estimate of 360k-390k

If its on the low side of 360k then it is about
1.15m

If its on the high side then 1.18m not including NZ.
even if they get those regionals it will still be well below the AFLs game.

Broncos are your biggest club, neither the hawks or Swans are ours.

Hawks v Swans isnt the biggest TV game in the AFL. The Hawks have a moderate following in Melbourne and the Swans are an expansion team. The Hawks have been reasonable this year without being amazing, and in all honesty, after 3 GFs most people are sick of the site of them.

So this will be the 3rd AFL game to crack 1.3m this year out of 9 rounds, while no NRL game has achieved this after 11 rounds

Ah the NRL rep round Test vs NZ is about 1.6m including NZ

AFL got anything above that this year? #-o

How did your Anzac game go this year.....   It tanked thats how it went champ.. =D>
no it didnt, it rated around 1.2m. Adding NZ in a country v country game is desperation. It's like cricket adding England's ratings to the ashes and claiming that Cricket is the most popular sport in Australia.

Ah no you dribbling ******

Fri TV #rugbyleague #RoosKiwis #9WWOS Nine 767k (Syd 430k Bri 337k) Gem 86k (Mel 60k Ade 6k Per 19k) Reg(C9)483k NZ sky?? (2015 272k) ?? 1.336m

So it rated 1.336mand if we take last years Test ratings as a guide on sky NZ the total would be around 1.6m

That is without simulcasting.

Anymore downgrading of NRL ratings for today?

Who fund NZ Rugby league champ?

Thats correct the NRL does and also the NRL receives the TV money for the tv rights for NZ RL.

Your Ashes analogy is as stupid as it gets.

Have a look at wookies graph of top ratings games.

You have one game that rated close and that is without NZ, add in NZ and your not even close buddy.

Wookies list doesnt include the last 2 rounds where weve rated near 1 mil on FTA only

I can understand an NRL game including NZ ratings because theyre in the comp, although Im more interested in who is more popular in Australia. However, including another countries ratings in an ARL game is an indication of RL's popularity internationally, not in Australia. You might as well include ratings in South Africa and England while youre at it

I think you are right in asking what we are using ratings to measure. If it just a simple comparison of who gets more than no issue with nz or any other country being added where it is shown. If it is popularity in australia than obviously only australian ratings matter. Simple really.

Wookies list doesn't include the 15m from the first 4 rounds nor does it include the 1.35 m from the test.

It makes no difference whether we include NZ or not. I would have thought though, you would have preferred to say that your 9 AFL matches were out rated by 8 NRL matches, rather than say 9 AFL matches where out rated by 7 1/2 NRL matches. :_<> :_<> :_<>

I have no idea what you are referring to. The AFL are dominating the only true comparison of both codes, FN. Your ARL international barely rated over them despite being the only game for RL in Australia for the entire weekend. How could you possibly think this reflects well on RL when you need an entire country in an isolated game to get over 1.3m when we've done it from home and away games 3 times already?

You are totally discredited Caitlan X......Man. You're now only willing to talk about one game a week......the rest you strike out.......do you know how stupid this makes you look.

And......... once again I've caught you out telling lies. The RL international was not the only game of RL on that weekend. There were two other international games on Saturday and City V Country on Sunday. That's 4 games ya lying dill !!!!!!!!

XMan , Ruby League is the best rating football code in this country. That's just a fact. We don't win the ratings in every game, and that's good. I honestly mean that. It puts a smile on your face and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. It's good to see you have some encouragement. I mean life would be pretty dull around here if we won every time. But you do need to face up to reality. The AFL will come second in the ratings battle this year just like it does every year, in fact, the NRL has more viewers than ever so your in for your worst defeat yet.

PS our regionals will be quite a bit higher than that.
So by retreating back to SOO (again) you concede the AFL outrates the NRL consistently then.....

So you like to exclude parts of the NRL that don't suit your argument....

:[] :[]

Its not our fault the entire planet outside of 3 states in Aus think your game is crap.

Work harder and you might be able to create a proper rep fixture and not this abomination you have atm against the Irish..

4 states .. Just saying and a teritory

It all depends what you are arguing. If you are arguing competitiob v competition then it is AFL and nrl weekly series. If you are arguing code , then as pussycat said you add in all games... But then do you add in all games and ratingd... State comps, women,s league, that are shown on tv and not those that suit? Then divide to get your average ? Why just add those up a level ?
