Port were a rabble on and off the field last year. New Coach, new president, and they're 3-0, have 37,000 members and an international company as major sponsor. These things happen in cycles. It's telling that Melbourne have been a disgrace for a decade, and yet they still draw 18,000 people against an interstate side on the weekend. Richmond have played finals twice in 30 years (that's less than Fitzroy btw), and they're over 50,000 members. AFL fans are loyal and steadfast in a way that nRL fans simply can't understand. What's a 'down' period for an AFL club would be the death of an nRL side.

Good lord you're a moron. Remember how we lost to GWS by 5 goals last year and the Crows by 10 goals?

Just stop, KE. You clearly know nothing about football.

No, AFL is like a religion in AFL states. Adelaide have a city almost half the size of Brisbane and have over 50% more attendance per year. Perth is 90% the size of Brisbane and have about double the attendance.

The game is that important. I'm sorry Dave but RL fans, who won't attend their games for hundreds of pathetic reasons, will never understand it.

You post the above bullshvt after not one of you gAyFL fans support Phelsby by responding to my response in his thread. Phelpsy tried to start to deflect from this one. Trying to suggest AFL is a close and great comp. You guys are pathetic. Please read the below and consider it when reading the thread title. That includes you SpamXman.

If I need to make it easier to read SpamXman, here it is. You are retaaaarded, for any gAyFL fans with some smarts about them. How are you going for a lopsided comp as KE suggests after reading the below. When comparing to the NRL where any side can win, any week. Must be boaring now you have bought memberships to 3 different teams for the year.

The response that has not had one gAyFL reply, that is because facts are facts.

Great thread champion, are you sure your an essendon fan. I would thing a RL fan when considering the below. Did you do any research before posting this nonsense or are you just trying to deflect from the whooping in KE options for a lopsided competition thread. So RL is uneven hey, ask the tipping comps about that one. Here are some interesting facts you might want to consider before posting nonsense again:
- We are in round 6, you are 3 rounds in and predictable already
- After 3 rounds of NRL
- 2 teams were 3 from 3
- 6 Teams were 2 from 3
- 6 Teams were 1 from 3
- 2 Teams had not won a game
- After 4 rounds every team had won a game
Some other facts for you after round 6
- Last years grandfinalist, much to ny disgrace, are coming last and have only lost by a try too the teams coming 1st and 2nd
- Second last is the side that was in the grandfinal the year before and their only win this year has been against one of the season openers competition favourite, but mind you they have only lost the last two weeks to second place rabbitohs by 2 points and by 1 try to the raiders who have won 3 from their last 4 games
- over the last 4 rounds, 1st placed melbourne have won by an average of 7.75 or just over 1 try
- equal 2nd placed Manly only just beat 10th placed sharks on the weekend
- Dragons went from a 0 from 3 record, to a 3 from 6 record, beating the 5th placed knights (for only the knights second loss this year)
- both broncos and Canberra have gone from a 1 from 3 record, to a 3 from 6 record , with Broncos only loss at the hands of Melb by 1 try and the raider inflicting rooster 2 loss for the year
- All teams have won a game in our competition and had done so by round 4, you think the AFL is going to achievve that, All the tops side are playing this weekend and all the div 2 AFL sides are playing this weekend, so maybe
- there is only 3 teams that have only won 1 game from 6 in the NRL and that includes the 2 team that have been in the Grand final in the last in the last two years
- the 3rd team was close against equal 2nd team rabbitohs in round 5 and lost by 1 goal last weekend to 5th placed newcastle
- 4 of the 8 sides which finished in the bottom 8 last year are in the top 8 this year and it is round 6

AFL on the other hand, same sides at the bottom of the comp and top of the comp as last year
- 7 out of of the 10 side which finish the 2012 year out of the 8 are still out of the 8 and it is only round 3
Of the 3 sides that are now in the 8
- Port Adel have played last and second last and Adelaide are the only side that made the 8 last year, this year all sides they have beat are not in the bottom 8
- Richmond, have won all three games against side that finished outside the 8 last year, and are outside the 8 this year
- Essenden, appear to have a little bit of credit to their wins at least, beating a bottom 8 side so far this year (but where last year in the top 8), beating Melbourne who I could even get a run with and fremantle

I don't think I would starting threads like this without doing some research in the future

Doggie style must be on a bit of a bender, for f**k sake I never know what point he's making, I know Raiderdave will just outright lie to somehow convince some small minded fool that RL is superior and the No 1 code in the country, doggiestyle however doesn't have the grey matter to do up shoe laces. Obviously did a bit too much chroming and now suffers from a basket weaving lifestyle. Doggie style please at least make sense you complete idiot! Adelaide, Nth Melb and Collingwood made finals last year, if they keep going poorly this year they may not. Your pathetic comp will only have one winner this year the Storm - so much for an even comp! Doggie style the next time you stick your head up some guys arse when your packing him in a scrum remember not to breath it. You absolute bum sniffing ***!
