No you are wrong ... again. In Australia 8 games are played and watched by Australians. Your lack of knowledge of basic statics analysis amazes me. I see the point being made but totally disagree on the rationale. It's simply wrong.
There are 16 teams in the NRL Fred. But because of your 'broken record' like carry on (only Australia, only Australia). You have reduced the NRL to just 15 teams because that's all the teams they have in Australia. What part of this do you have trouble grasping?
Oh boy. I get all that. You still have 8 games shown for people to watch in Australia. Yes, there will still be people watching outside Australia not counted ... so when considering how many people watch rl in Australia they have 8 games to watch on Australia with 16 teams playing it.

In cricket when India play Australia in Australia we don't say 1 team was playing yet we count only Australian ratings ... cause that is what we want to know ... how well did that sport do in Australia.

I see where you want to take it. But disagree. Terry is right we will have to agree to disagree .

Lets go through it point by point..

1. 15 teams in NRL AUS (1 x team in NZ)
2. Brisbane play NZ
3. 1 x home fans watch broncos
4. where are the other home fans in Australia.
5. no where.
6. therefore only neutrals are watching
7. Example AFL>>> Crows v Collingwood.
8. home fans on Tv IN SA AND VIC watch GAME
9. getting both supporter bases watching 1 game.
10. now imagen cutting the crows out
11. and replacing them with NZ
12. therefore eliminating 1 supporter base
13. what do you think would happen to the Australian TV Audience ?

lol 7,5 matches! one team plays it self every weekenD :(/

the AFL has games over lapping, played at the same time & plays game in isolation & has time delays in WA & QLD :)))

the NRLOL does not maybe on the odd occassion! this is why head to head the AFL flogs the NRLOL nearly every time

yes I am arguing what is "ONLY" watched in Australia... Excluding N.Z
in that point form, I was showing you the disadvantage.

of why the figure would be lower in Australian Tv Figures,
when NZ Play, as you lose a supporter base which is not located in *Australia*

Hopefully you get this, cause it is the last time I am going through this certain point.. lol

Fred seems to have trouble with concentration and focus. I started this conversation in relation to Foxleague again being No.1 on pay TV last week. I made the point this was a good result considering it counts the ratings of only 15 teams. This is an incontrovertible fact. The Warriors are broadcast on Sky Sports in NZ and those ratings are not included in the Foxleague numbers. Fact.

Fred then went on one of his usual waffling, meandering, painful rants about everything bar the issue I raised i.e. Foxleague remaining No. 1 on pay despite the Warriors Sky sports ratings not being included.

Fred: please try and focus on the issue at hand. Hope that clears up another dogs breakfast.

You are so wrong. It is great fox league or whatever it is called did well. They showed 8 games which rated well. 16 teams played 8 games. I see where you are going with it and understand your rationale re people watching in nz not included but that doesn't distract from 8 games and 16 teams being shown in Australia.

I watch cricket ... Australia v South Africa - Two teams not one.

Rugby union ... when an Australian team plays a South African team ... shown in both countries ... they don't say 1 team played.

exactly FRED

AUSTRALIA PLAYED>>> so the whole nation supports AUSTRALIA >>>

Big difference when you have 2 supporting teams to 1
playing on TV

example again FRED

COLLINGWOOD V CARLTON AT MCG DRAWS 80k

COLLINGWOOD V NZ DRAWS 40k

you are halving the support of 1 game of people watching in Australia..

lol this is starting to get hilarious
