Combining Fox, metro and regionals last night was only 722 FTA + 208 STV = 930k

more poor results for nation-wide prime time ratings for the NRL.

  Poor Results.. you make me laugh..
900k plus is more than a pass. =D>

cmon AFL
put a Suns v Demons game on Friday night
or a St Kilda v Lions
or a GWS for western Bulldogs.
but but but......

Barely over 900k is very average for a game shown nationally against no other sport. Look at those fox ratings. Again they show how average the NRL rates on Fox when shown against FTA. The AFL is rating almost 300k under the same circumstances
Dear Caitlan X......Man you have been caught out again. Apparently psychologists say that if you continually repeat the same lie you will eventually begin to believe it yourself. That is you Caitlan you poor bugger. I know you are having a difficult time at the moment with the change and everything (hope that's going ok) but I think your brain is a little scrambled and you see RL as the big bad bear coming to get you.

Let it go Caitlan.....it's ok......rabble ball will survive in it's citadels and.....well...... nowhere else.....but it will survive. Take the helmet off you poor bugger........the wars over!!!!

I'm not talking about Saturday Night, I'm talking Thursday/Friday nights. The only AFL nights that rate the ones restricted to just 13 Teams , 14 teams last year and 15 a few years before that. You have a very lopsided completion and its only getting worse. The reintroduction of tanking might be the way to go. Please, Tell me again how well you rate on a Riday night :_<> :_<> :_<> .
So you were caught out speaking rubbish. All teams in the AFL get FTA games in prime time. FN goes nationally so is reserved for the better games.

Irrespective, our best FNs are beating every one of your home and away games, so your excuses are just but but butting

Fri TV #NRL #NRLCowboysBroncos Nine 493k (Syd 232k Bri 261k) Gem 33k (Mel 18k Ade 7k Per 9k) + estimated regionals of 328k = 854k FTA

Fri TV #AFL #AFLHawksSwans Seven 541k (Mel 435k Ade 106k) 7mate 193k (Syd 71k Bri 27k Per 95k) + estimated regionals of 245k = 979k FTA

With Foxtel to come this looks like another Friday night domination by the AFL

NRLs 1st v 2nd in a game decided by a point wont come near last nights 3rd v 6th AFL game, nor is it near the AFLs highest rating games of the year.

Please, backwardball fans, explain to me how the NRL is ahead in the ratings again........LOL

XMan , Ruby League is the best rating football code in this country. That's just a fact. We don't win the ratings in every game, and that's good. I honestly mean that. It puts a smile on your face and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. It's good to see you have some encouragement. I mean life would be pretty dull around here if we won every time. But you do need to face up to reality. The AFL will come second in the ratings battle this year just like it does every year, in fact, the NRL has more viewers than ever so your in for your worst defeat yet.

PS our regionals will be quite a bit higher than that.

So by retreating back to SOO (again) you concede the AFL outrates the NRL consistently then.....

Its not our fault the entire planet outside of 3 states in Aus think your game is crap.

Work harder and you might be able to create a proper rep fixture and not this abomination you have atm against the Irish..

even if they get those regionals it will still be well below the AFLs game.

Broncos are your biggest club, neither the hawks or Swans are ours.

Hawks v Swans isnt the biggest TV game in the AFL. The Hawks have a moderate following in Melbourne and the Swans are an expansion team. The Hawks have been reasonable this year without being amazing, and in all honesty, after 3 GFs most people are sick of the site of them.

So this will be the 3rd AFL game to crack 1.3m this year out of 9 rounds, while no NRL game has achieved this after 11 rounds

Im comparing like for like. Comp v comp, and the AFL are well ahead.

RL have an added advantage of having 3 state v state games, which are popular in their own right, and get a massive occasional viewer audience. However, thats it. Other than these 3 games RL plays second fiddle to the AFL by some distance

no it didnt, it rated around 1.2m. Adding NZ in a country v country game is desperation. It's like cricket adding England's ratings to the ashes and claiming that Cricket is the most popular sport in Australia.
