& lets look at that TV figure for NZ shall we
reach right ?
according to sookie daks thats all they post over there
1.83 million for the season
1.83 million
so lets look at that figure,
77 games , more then half in NZ .. all those local derbies ... 1/3 of those games in Australia , some would have been on very late for NZ veiwers, certainly those in WA but a lot of those games involved NZ teams as well
reach audience per game
24K
divide by 2 for average audience ( for a rugby match )
12K
12K
for the national sport of NZ, a country of 5 million people ...
12K
yea right

You dont divide reach by anything, its total viewers over the course of the season.
In April
NRL
The NRL, has already commanded 1.2 million viewers on Sky Sport and Sky Open across the opening six weeks of the season, during which time Sky Sport Now’s audience has grown by 4% to more than 201,000, and Sky Go’s has risen by 13% to over 196,000.
Super Rugby Pacific
Those numbers bring Sky’s total audience for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season to 1.53 million viewers on Sky Sport and Sky Open through the first nine rounds. Viewership on Sky Sport Now, meanwhile, has increased by 12% year-on-year to just under 243,000 throughout that same period, while Sky Go’s audience has been boosted by 30% to over 247,000.

yea ya do dummy
if a union or league game has a reach of a million ish
invariably the average audience is around half of that figure
so that figure of 1.8 million reach , divided by the number of games played the average rating figure is around 12K
which is patently ..... absurd
