30 pus years and how many agreements has the AFL flogged the fuck out of the NRL in the TV rights despite NRL should have been the better paid due to advertising rates of the Cities!

so let it be signed in 2 mohths time and get it out of the way so you will be proven wrong again like usual!

seriously do you know anything about , well .... anything ?    :(/ :(/

8 years ago it was a mere 36 million $ PA with drongoball having an extra game
twerpballs 2017-2022 , 9 games a week
416 mil pa
the NRLs
380 million PA for 8 games a week

they were essentially on par
then covid happened
PVL was lied to by foxtel , they cried poor ... he signed a poor deal ( he thought he had to to keep them operating )
then foxtel & Ch 7, unwisely spent their money on a dud sport... flogball

all gunna change soon
:(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/
my god! your a fucken idiot of a thing!

so they never cry poor to the AFL! the network executives the select few that are put in place run these billion dollar networks, when signing multi billian dollar contracts know what they are looking at! they just see your code as inferior and a second rate product to the AFL!

the most hilarious part of this, you lot the ones that are aftraid to leave the house due to tribalism eg scared of the neighbour laughing there arses off at you, think you know better than these executives who sign these contracts for these multi billion dollar companies!

30 plus years and they have never been close and history will repeat again!
well they thought skinnywhitewankerball would get them subscribers , so they paid more .. way more
good on steady eddie ball , for conning them with how many subscribers they could deliver , some more sure , but still waaaaayyyy less then the NRL , & now

its time to pay the nation & regions most watched sport ... what its worth & rest assured spambot
PVL will make sure they do

pretty sure it went like this

COVID HIT
The disaster that it brought, PVL AND NRL had no idea what was next>> FOX wanted content locked in
AND TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY>>> NRL LOCKED IN A DEAL to SAVE THE GAME >>>

at the SAME TIME AFL was experiencing HELL if they did not get the game back on etc etc etc ..

at that time locking it in (Was a smart Move) In hindsight it turned out to be a disaster >>

and things become alot better>> and AFL discussed a DEAL at way better times...
add In Huge tention from Channel 10

AND BANG!! it all fell into place.

Vlandys is literally quoted as doing a deal to not kill the golden broadcasting goose.

AFL media deal extension for 2023-2024 announced 22 dec 2020.
NRL media deal was announced dec 2021 through 2027
Paramount takes Aleague and national soccer rights may 2021.
AFL 2025-2031 deal announced Sept 2022

Vlandys did not need to do a seven year deal in 2021. It was shortsighted as proven by the AFL.

the networks pay the AFL more than the NRL! how you keep thinking you know more than the people that run these networks and sign contracts to commit billions of dollars! they want a better return on there money so they continue to go for the AFL! thats how serious the people in power take the rating systems

ohhh i 100% agree..
Huge mistake but most supporters have forgiven him, due to what hes done for the game overall with the commission.

only in this latest deal spambot & only because steadyeddieball told them they'd deliver X number of extra subscribers

& foxtel believed them....again
like i said , good on noodearmsinsingletsball for stretching the truth again , & someone believing them ... again

all its done really is put foxtel squarely in the sights of the sport with the most subscribers ... by far ... the NRL

so you think for 30 plus years and, several negotiated billions of dollars later the bosses of billion dollar media empires keep being sold and falling for AFL lies and false promises, contract after contract?

mind you according to google channel 7 have had the contracts for most of that time and other media channel 9 and 10 continue to try and out bid channel 7

this is with derpball being allowed to claim a 25% increase in STV ratings & applying the NRL's 12.5 increase
thats drongoball at 500K per game on STV ( this will come down some what from here on as Saturdays are now shown on FTA live outside of vicdumboh.)
the NRL is around 565K av STV per game for 2025

its a sorry

sorry tale for the Vicdumbian game

TV networks... take note

now to the ..... horror .. show for ratings yesterday

1st to the A League GF , as sookie daks indicated , no competition from either of the major codes on FTA like there was last year so this years GF should do considerably better....

it didn't
ch 10
333K , barely any better then the 316K from 2024

the stumbles & bumbles
Afternoon , 2 games ... early shown in QLD & WA, later one in NSW
total ratings , in those 3 capitals & regionals ...... 142K

evening game shown in SA & NSW
203K

not pretty eh
345K for 3 games , shown everywhere except Vicdumboh.
