I noticed that the WOMENS GF is on 7mate in NSW AND QLD and Ch7 in Southern States.

one benefit is there is zero and nothing else on

Still didn’t watch it - YouTube most of the night whilst missus living it up with friends at the Star in Broadbeach - she had a suite - I had the TV lll

Trying to be politically correct and watch lots of woman's sport but it just doesn't seem to happen

What ever happened to woman's cricket.
Channel seven had high hopes for woman's cricket but the various projections failed to materialize.
Several years ago it was all over the television and very hard to avoid.
Today the amount of coverage is limited, a huge decline.
The media was throwing around names of the stars as if they were household names, but not now.

it rated like a turd because it was absolute garbage thats what happened , TV stations can't tie down main channels with rubbish.
The only womens team sports that consistently rate in Australia today are the Matildas & NRLW

AFLW GF with the same teams rated better in 2023 in the afternoon.
than it did in 2024 at night time with Ch7 BVOD and fox included.

channel 7 even lost the Night in the ratings for airing the $hit Show to Replays of movies on Ch9

Rated under half of what SOO Girls games did all 3 games

Yeah - much prefer the women's NRL - but prefer the women's NRL to the Mens to be honest - women's game seems less structured - room for unpredictability - things happen whereas I find the mens very clinical for 90 percent where you are waiting for something to unfold.

The 2024 AFLW season was the highest streamed of all time across Foxtel Group platforms Kayo Sports, Foxtel Go, Foxtel Now and BINGE, up 61% year-on-year. Across the season, 179 million minutes were streamed.

Look I follow footy like most people in Australia. But the women's AFLW is really bad.

The Lions are my team & even I didn't care about the women's GF.

Yes the women's game is azif but the men's is clearly the most popular sport in this great country of ours.

Just be happy the NRL is second with cricket third in popularity in Australia.
