I am amazed that people keep getting sucked into ke's trolling lol. He really couldn't care less about the subject matter albeit it gets people arguing. Of course violence is not the answer in most situations, especially on the sporting feild ... We know and he knows it... Dave doesn't but he is the type that thinks that guy on the footy show that champions bring back the biff is funny.

Didn't realise we were on a English spelling bell - here's the definition of you've
you've (yv)
Contraction of you have.
Obviously don't know the meaning of you're and your
adj. The possessive form of you.
1. Used as a modifier before a noun: your boots; your accomplishments.
2. A person's; one's: The light switch is on your right.
3. Informal Used with little or no sense of possession to indicate a type familiar to the listener: your basic three-story frame house.

Hope this helps you Raiderdave, you're is correct you fuck wit!

Good too see I'm getting to you otherwise you would be attacking the content and not the sentence construction - What do you expect with such a hypocritical coward!

Myles was leading into tackles with his head, myles was twisting knees intending to injure. Nowi don't know if you AFL turkeys have seen Nate myles in action but think Barry hall X 3. Now lets just be perfectly clear here. If your and your teammates were in danger of being seriously injured by this ***** and his actions were not being acted on by police, refs etc. I think you'd be happy for someone like gallen to courageously stand up for what is right before someone got seriously hurt by a headbutt or ligament damage to their knee. Myles didn't cause any more controversy the entire game. And ill say it again. He knew what he was doing was wrong. The refs didn't. Myles basically thanked gallen for knocking him into submission. Everyone won. A great origin moment and something which should be used in school anti bullying program's. =D>
Then why has Myles not been sanctioned by the NRL - if he was doing all those things surely he would be brining the game into disrepute? No it's an excuse - you know it was wrong man up and admit it - won't your game be a better specticle for its skill and determination - rather than its thuggery? I watched Storm play last night didn't see Cronulla start throwing punches for past grapple tackles. Again your defending what shoe be regarded as a thing of the past - Raiderdave has no brains, is a coward and obviously still lives with mum and his army men - you KE can have an argument without resorting to calling someone a ********** etc etc. You usually sound like someone with half a clue expect more from you than this!

Oh man. Daves right. The rampant dumbness.

Myles was getting away with illegal tactics just as many many of the thugs do running round in the AFL. Read the entire thread for examples :)

There'll always be cheats who will do anything they can to win at the top level. Hell some coaches even encourage it. This will never stop. Only a complete and utter imbecile would believe otherwise. And it's these chumps, when the refs/umps eyes dont catch em, who deserve some biff.

It's jolly good and Nate myles basically thanked gallen for teaching him to be a real man rather than a cheating coward.

The footage should be integrated into school anti bully programs as a means to alert bullies that 'do it too often and someone's gunna get ya'. It should also be used to educate the AFL umpires, judiciary panel and policy makers. :D

ONE punch and you're off. The NRL has announced a strict zero tolerance policy to punching in the toughest crackdown on foul play in rugby league history.
State of Origin coaches Laurie Daley and Mal Meninga will be warned of the no-striking edict before Game II in Brisbane on June 26 and the crackdown will be enforced in all NRL matches from this weekend.
Any player caught punching an opponent will be automatically sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes, no matter what the circumstances. They could also face a judiciary charge.
The no-punch stance follows Blues skipper Paul Gallen's attack on Maroons forward Nate Myles in the opening State of Origin game on June 5.
Gallen was suspended for one club game, but not sin-binned. The incident has been replayed on television hundreds of times.
NRL referees boss Daniel Anderson has spoken to his entire squad this week about a stricter policing of foul play and punching incidents. Referees will be dropped if they don't enforce the rules and use the sin bin.
Anderson made the decision following a meeting with NRL chief executive Dave Smith, who was concerned about the game's image as a result of the Gallen-Myles incident.
Anderson, a former junior development officer, says the crackdown is vital for the future of the game and the recruitment of young players. "We need to make sure our game can recruit young kids," he said. "We've got a duty to the community and to people involved in our sport.
"There are a lot of swinging voters on our game who could be turned away by certain incidents.
"The product has to be palatable and accommodate all people who want to be involved in the game. It's the mums and dads who decide if their kids get to play rugby league."
There have been constant suggestions of a Maroons square-up in Origin II. The referees' boss and former coach of the Parramatta Eels and the New Zealand Warriors will speak to the Origin coaches within the next few days.
"I'll ensure I have a chat to Laurie and Mal personally. They'll be told any player that punches or comes in third man will be identified and sent to the sin bin.
"It's plausible that more than one player can be sent to the sin bin. It could be multiple players, depending on the incident. It's important we adjudicate it consistently. Every referee will be on the same page. The same with video referees."
Anderson said he eventually wants to see Origin refereed under the same guidelines as NRL club games.
"I don't like the perception there are different rules in NRL and Origin games. This has to be consistent. I'd rather we're all on the same page."
Blues coach Laurie Daley said his side would have to accept the rules.
"As long as we know and as long as it's policed consistently we've got no complaints," he said.
Queenslander Gorden Tallis applauded the move.
"That's perfect; I'm glad they've come out and done something. I've been saying all along that Gallen should have been sin-binned."

NRL clamping down on punching. A send off for a punch thrown in SOO no matter what the reason!! =D>

Why? The children......exactly what we who criticised the violence have been saying.

:
no not really

this has been the case since the day the sin bin was introduced about 35 years ago , in recent years theres always been the possibility of further sanctions as well .. such as Gallen being suspended
the Sin Bin will be used for professional fouls & fighting

fighting where 2 players are involved
if a third player or more players run a distance to become involved & throws punches .. that player/s is/are sent from the field for the remainder of the match
I'd of been quite ok for Paul to have been binned during Origin one for his stoush with Nate

but if you think this will curb the aggression & potential for a punch on in the 2 remaining games ,you are again showing your abject ignorance
There is so much at stake
If one team is attempting to physically intimidate the other with borderline foul play ... watch it explode
Neither team will back down an inch
as a result of what happened in Sydney , it will be bristling in Brisbane .... the atmosphere cuttable with a knife
like the Romans at the Coliseum... the only sport in this nation that can provide a Gladitorial battle like this
whhoooooo hoooooooo
can't wait

& neither can 4 million plus other aussies ( including you  )

Yes I concur dave, although I wonder what ever happened to the old 5mins in the bin? Xman I expected gallen to be sent off but smiled when he didn't. The refs likely knew myles was a cheat and prob provided some leniency to make up for not addressing myles head tut on hayne earlier in the match.

What we got was an amazing origin moment. Viewed worldwide and adored by kiddies and adults alike. Those with any sense could see it was a beautiful moment where the bullied stood up to he bully.

Yes rl promotes itself. Quite a contrast to what the AFL have spent a small fortune for promo, rl players izzy and the khunt

Over 10 mil spent .. barely national but maybe local promo .. And what did the public see? Two bumbling fools being given a bath by even the most mediocre of pro players

Yeah but the bin is fine for brawling players 5 mins or 10 depending. I've seen players get worse 20 years ago. Thanks Xman. Twas interesting article :)

So you concede fist fighting is a bad look for the game and a very poor example for fans, especially kids? Seems like the NRL administrators do.
