how are the 2 leagues going head to head.

Viewership
and
Crowds

not sure on the crowds , from what i can see neither comp is doing much there
but on TV ?

the NRLW is not only outrating every domestic womens comp in the land ... like .. its daylight 2nd & 3rd
its also outrating the following.... mens.... comps in Aust

A League
Super Rugby Pacific
NBL

Top 5 watched domestic sports comps in Australia

1) NRL
2) AFL
3) BBL
4) NRLW

5) .... who cares
as a product you got to start to be looking at the value.
With expansion in NRLW it is looking to take over A League and Union
in value per year from 2028
great Signs

Well done girls doing a great job

Good to see some FOX figures for AFLW it looks very low per game basis.
theres value there for sure ,
the only factor against a significant amount of $ is the amount of games / content in the NRLW
it only goes for 11 weeks total ... & it runs in conjunction with the mens , I think it would be worth more $ in spring tbh ... starting Oct & finishing before Xmas

2 new teams next year (12 teams) already the size of A League)
Prob looking at 14 teams by 2028

It is hard with the start time. )after October Footy kinda gets forgotten

confirmation that the fumbling women are getting

worse

I mean I know thats hard to believe as it is the biggest shit show in womens sport in Australia & its no wonder no one watches it
but
this effort last night , has hit a new low for crap being passed off as sport
https://www.msn.com/en-au/sport/other/e ... 7f3d&ei=34

3-8-26
0-3-3

:-k

11 derps & 3 goals ... including one team only derping & its the 3rd time this year that team has only derped     :(/ :(/    :(/ :(/

fumbleball house must be deeply concerned
they have invested millions in this comp & it is not progressing in any way

they'd be looking at the NRL & going ....how do they do it :hmm: , how do they produce a womens game like that

& we get this ? 8-[

The poor scoring by some AFLW teams as highlighted does not reflect the overall higher standard of play compared to a few years ago

NRLW fails to be embraced by local communities.

https://www.austadiums.com/sport/comp/nrlw/crowds

Absolutely pathetic NRLW crowds this season.
Regular season games are an absolute joke
Let's stop pretending this is a worthy competition of generating significantly more money.

It's an embarrassment to woman's sport.

A bona fide shit show, that nobody ( few ) is going to.

Please stop the BS about this comp being so much better than its rival.
Both have their limitations and both can be a challenge to watch
To claim that one comp is vastly superior to its rival is just trash talk.

you fumbling ****^^tic

when fumbling womens teams are scoring
0.3.3
0.4.4
1.3.9
1.4.10

it is a direct correlation of quality     :(/ :(/
there is none
there might be 15 players total in that 18 team comp that you could say are across the skill set .... thats it
it is officially
UNWATCHABLE

Crowds
NRLW .... with origin ... average 5,833
AFLW average 2,482

TV ratings
NRLW rating higher then mens Super Rugby & the A League nationally & the fumbling men in NSW & QLD     :(/ :(/

AFLW rating as highly as cartoons involving transformers & ponys with big eyes 8-[
     :(/ :(/

The NRLW is sooooooo far ahead of every womens domestic sports comp in Australia tis a bit hilarious

the MENS team had just won the GF the day before and made appearance LOL

Yeah - I don't think AFLW has taken hold too much - marquee events will always get a crowd of course, regardless of the sport - particularly in Melbourne - so a sell-out grand final doesn't mean much in my opinion - particularly when the weekly crowds are generally poor.

Memberships - never seen them as a measure of popularity really or of support per se.

the NRLW GF rated 750K on TV , thats the mark to beat
there were , 46K in the stadium for the game , altho most were there for the mens decider

But the NRLW is a long , long way ahead

I noticed that the WOMENS GF is on 7mate in NSW AND QLD and Ch7 in Southern States.

one benefit is there is zero and nothing else on
