how arnt they good numbers? i would say that yesterdays A-league game scored higher ratings than what both the AFL and NRL get in their expansion cities for a regular season game. that figure also shits on Rugby and the super 15. it may not look impressive against the NRL and AFL amounts but it sits in 3rd comfortably

It would be , I agree, if you were comparing rating figures in australia. However aren't we comparing the AFL and the NRL?

Or stating nrl is more popular in nz than Union using the ratings as indicator from aus.

The fact remains, and anyone who disputes it is either an idiot or troll, AFL is the number 1 sport in this country . Even the boss of the nrl said as much

And you can slice and Dice ratings any way you want, at the end of the day more people watch the AFL than watch the nrl. Simple as that . I think even if you throw in SOO more people still watch AFL.

Without NZ Figures you get smashed - With NZ figures it must be like a nightmare for you.

If you have any interest in becoming a moderator I think i'ts not unreasonable for you to know what this thread is about - AFL v NRL.

RL is more popular than Union in Auckland.

Pretty ordinary figures for us! Those I suppose you can't win every week.
