The AFL fucking smash every other comp in the land.
There was am article from Roy Master the other day and I think it might have thrown fort six. In the article mentions that this was the first time since 2011 that the NRL club competition would beat the NL ratings, on its own since 2011. the NRL club completion makes up 85-90% of the NRL . The rest is made up from representative football.
If this is not enough for you I suggest you take it up with Wookie who's been adding up the weekly ratings for years. Or , if that doesn't suit you could always try adding them up youself

Well folks the blood letting continues in this annus horribilis for the AFL. Total ratings for the 6 games of R13 2017 were 3.677M. The total for this years round under the same broadcast conditions were 3.191M. That is a colossal -486k on last year.
That is a loss of nearly half a million over JUST 6 games. Let that sink in!!!!! Wowsers!!!!!!!!!!
We can only hope Gilty and the boys are working away feverishly with their secret plans to save the game!!!!!!!
