The link I posted shows organized Australian Rules participations rates virtually double Rugby League comps in Australia.

End of story.

Got nothing as usual, RL still has 3 other versions, the numbers all up would be around 1.5 million easily.

RL is the biggest game in Australia.

Still no more proof? Am I to take your word for these "other forms"?

I didn't realize touch footy was actually RL!

Seems that a pure RL v AR comparison is HEAVILY in ARs favour.

The touch footy link you showed claims numbers from school participation. wTF? How about we count every single kid playing Aussie rules in interschool comps in every school in VIc SA WA TaS NT NSW QLD!

I know why you want to include all these other games that ARE NOT RL! Otherwise you lose dismally!

They are RL, RL started them and still has guys like Benji Marshall and Sean Johnson turning up in the NRL every year.

RL made it decades ago when first grade sides used it at training, it got mass exposure during a Parramatta GF in the 70's and has since gone global.

There's Tag Rugby League, OZ TAG, Tag Rugby, Mini League, Beach RL and a couple of others.

:)

you cannot change the fact that ARs has higher participation rates than RL in Australia. Even the study I showed you by the government separated RL and touch footy.

You go straight to include other rugby games to make up the numbers. Your quotes include school kids participating in PE FFS!

You're desperate and losing!

Does a spring board diver become a different sportsman when he goes to platform diving?

Is indoor Cricket not Cricket?

Is Indoor Soccer, Beach Soccer not Soccer?

Is Go Cart racing not motor racing when in a V8?

Is Auskick not a Version of AR?

Is Dog paddle not swimming because you came from Freestyle?

Is 7's/9's Rugby not Rugby 13/15 League/Union?

Are Karate and Kick Boxing not Martial arts?

Touch footy isn't RL, otherwise they'd call it RL!

Go figure!

Plus your touch footy figures are crap. If you want to count every kid who plays inter school touch footy then Australian rules would have a massive number playing inter school ARs!

You'd still lose!

The government study counted RL and touch footy separately. Even if you add them together ARs was still ahead!

Ever heard of Touch Rugby League?

Tag Rugby League?

Do a fucking search you biased bastard.

And everyone knows Auskick numbers are included in the AFL's over all numbers, that's how idiots like NSWAFL think there's 82,000 u12 AFL players in NSW.

FMD!

Wrong. The study I posted only includes organized sports, not auskick. In fact the study is for ages 15 and over.

Read me and weep. Touch footy and RL together are still less than ARs!
