Whilst it is great rl numbers are up, using percentages to compare between codes is misleading. Whether it be crowds, ratings or otherwise. If the lions went from say averaging 10000 to 15000 crowds and an AFL fan was bragging about the 50 percent increase in comparing to the broncos who say went up 10 percent from 50000 to 55000 you would think the AFL person was clutching at straws dont you think... Particuarly if the lions has moved inti a new 20000 seat stadium for example.
