Oh boy!!! look at those terrible brisbane ratings

Looks like atleast 100 thousand brisbanites converted to AFL over the off season. I'll give it 2 more years before league is dead here.

I agree those Brisbane figures are horrible, but Sydneys not much better.

What a terrible start of the season for the NRL
I was at the casino last night, and went into the sporting lounge, and there was hardly anyone there watching the NRL game on the big screen

Even the A League Section had a bigger turnout    :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>
thats a regular occurrence, when you go to the pub or casino, League is often playing on the big screen but no one is watching it.

Was thinking it would be good to have a new thread for each round of the season with all the ratings for that round in the opening post edited of course as the figures come through. Would make it easy and quick to get figures from the past as a means of referencing etc. Thinking this thread could be more of a general discussion thread. What do you guys think? I've started a new thread for the NRL in Round 1 to get your thoughts on how this may work.
Agree. We need an easy way to find previous ratings, and that way would be easiest. However I'm worried it will be overrun by idiotic comments so maybe the threads should be left as ratings figures only, and this thread used as discussion.
I've got a solution, ban Melbourne people from commenting.

ban NRL fans from commenting. even after the figures have been posted, you bumsniffers take the high ground & just debate with every possible argument attempting to twist the thread in to your favor

Fri STV #AFL #AFLPiesFreo #FoxFooty 260k

Add the 260k and you get 923,000 + non foxtel regionals.

Your Fox numbers included regional ratings which would drop your FTA regional figure even further. You cant actually add the Fox numbers to FTA and call it a metro figure when Fox numbers included regional viewers,.............  :_<>

NRL opener wiped the floor with the AFL opener and this weeks NRL friday night also wiped the floor with the AFL opener.

Sat TV #AFL #AFLGiantsSwans 7mate Sydney 43k average (73k watching delayed finish around 7.30pm)

The match must of had some type of presentation to be attracting that much interest towards the end

2 AFL games almost beat 3 NRL game on fox despite the AFL losing viewers to FTA.

It wasn't our best result. But what about the other 150K New Zealand Home audience? NRL viewers not shown on that list?

How would the AFL loose viewers to FTA? Please tell.
