Flicked on to the pies match for a little. Seemed to be full which was a surprise. Are the charging for tickets this year
What I did see seemed to be an improvement I must admit - still not sold on the aflw though.

crowd was 5,500 odd or something
North Sydney Oval doesn't hold that many
And you can buy a membership for about $20 to get into all home games , about $2 bucks a game
& 2 goals 9 misses is an improvement is it ?

so
Bbutt , the recent resident forum idiot suggested the fumbling women rate better on TV then the NRL girls
the 2 opening games of women stumbles n misses was on TV last night nationally back to back
earlier game 178K
later game from WA 156K
https://tvtonight.com.au/2024/08/friday ... -2024.html
STV to add ofc
the NRL womens opening game back in July
rated more then double those 2 games above combined
383K
https://tvtonight.com.au/2024/07/thursd ... -2024.html
debate closes ............ here

Think it’s good to play in these smaller venues - Amy game looks and feels better where it is a, or near to, full. Do it looked and felt good what I saw.
And what I saw - very small amount- skills did look a little better - that’s from a very low bar. I think the women nrl are playing at a higher level - I often find it, from a novices point of view any way, more enjoyable as seems better game play to me and more ball in play - where as I can find the men’s nrl too clinical at times (and could say the same for men’s AFL) - where there is often not too many improvisations - and all set plays.

its disgraceful , playing on goat tracks away in the burbs where they can't embarrass anyone
while the NRL's girls play on many 1st class venues where the NRL men play ...often on NRL game day before them.
one code shows respect for its women .. one does not
the fumbling women look inept & skilless
like they always do

Was $15 for adult tickets.
Swans AFLW memberships start at $86 for admission only, going up to $499.

Swans still getting the biggest crowds in the AFLW too.

You can always rely on beatup for a good 'ol fashion beatup!!!!!! I live in the area. There was a torrential downpour just before and during the game. As well as the fact it was 8pm on a Thursday night.
But never let the facts get in the way of a good 'ol fashion beatup beatup ya dill lolololololol!!!!!!!!!!!
