I havent seen the documentary, nor have I seen Buddy's comments, so It's hard to respond specifically. However, if the number 1 premise was his treatment was racist it misses the mark by a massive margin. I feel sorry for Goodes, he didn't deserve the treatment he got. No one deserves to be booed out of the game, especially if they come out and say how the treatment is affecting their mental health. But assuming it was based on race only exacerbated the crowd reaction

This guy has stood up to racism more than anyone. Was he booed? Nope, not at all. Nor are players like Eddie Betts who have also stood up to racism



I know you're desperate to pin Goodes' treatment on racism but the evidence just isnt convincing. If it was racism we'd see other indigenous players booed in a similar way
