Brisbane - 14,761 (25,366)
Canterbury Bulldogs - 8,997 (13,218)
Canberra – 4,000 (8,348)
Cronulla Sharks – 3,400 (6,878)
GoldCoast – 3,000 (6,610) Brandz were did you get these numbers out of curiosity?
Manly - ????? (9,540)
Melbourne – 8,500 (12,736) And were did you get these numbers, Storm have not updated the memberships on the website for 2 months now?
Newcastle – 11,504 (18,460)
New Zealand – 5,000 (10,800) Were did you get these numbers cant find them anywhere?
North Queensland - ????? (10,212)
Parramatta Eels – 9,509 (10,999)
Penrith - ????? (11,169)
St George – 13,529 (20,313)
South Sydney – 16,235 (22,000)
Sydney - 4,829 (9,305)
Wests Tigers – 5,121 (10,248)
I seen GC's numbers on an article or on twitter can't remember which one it was mate.
& Melbourne would be at approx. 9,000 now or just under and NZ's numbers 4-500-5,000, they are accurate estimations.
Yeah the Melbourne numbers have not moved for months on the Storm Site so i would say maybe more then 9k but we will wait and see.
NZ i would think it would be more then 5k imo.
Yeah that's what Ive been thinking as well :-k
Great to see that Parramatta and Canterbury are half way to 20,000, would love to see them get 20,000 members this year :D

Compared to a couple of years ago, there outstanding. Just remember that RL fans have never really had membership embraced in with the culture of the team they follow, the NRL has come a long way since then. You could say AFL have bigger numbers over and over (which will always be obvious), but the fact the commission have set out a strategic plan to gain 400k members is well in sight as the changes are already being seen across the clubs (look at parramattas overall membership last year to this years at this point is incredible).

Cronulla Sharks membership numbers in previous years and now:
2010 - 4,100
2011 - 4,900
2012 - 6, 878
2013 - 4,200 (December)

The sharks membership numbers are steadily rising and as part of the strategic plan they should have 15,000 by 2017. They have set out a goal of 10,000 memberships this year and I think they will achieve this goal, it is amazing for a club that was almost defunct a couple of years ago and now with the re-development of the stadium and the shopping centre, they will have plenty of money to splash around.
