I love that getting 130k to an entire round of football is a source of gleeful optimism fo you.

What a quaint, adorable league you follow Dave.

used to be the VFL could get more to a game then an entire round of the old NSWRL

now
it can't

even on its best day

Swines games could handle all Sydney NRL matches by themselves
& now games invloving the swines .. its premier.. are more then doubled by single NRL attendances

RL .. growing
VFL... declining
haha. This is such a great self-convinced victory. It's like an obese couch potato running the 100m in 7 minutes, having previously run it in 8, and claiming victory over Usain Bolt for running 9.47 seconds instead of 9.45 seconds.

obese couch potato quickening
Usain Bolt in decline

the decline is so terribly obvious
37K average just a few short years ago
to
31K ... & falling to probably below 30K this year , really apart from Vic
is this game going anywhere ... anywhere at all ?

that coupled with massive growth in the NRL.... 7K average in 1983 to probably in excess of 17K in 2013
the NRL & RL in general smashing the VFL outta the park on TV in the ratings
media organisations acknowledging this dominance & awarding it a bigger broadcast rights deal

its shocking & painful for these singlet wearing tools to process the truth
but process it they must
their games days are ova ... it has not taken off anywhere outside its heartland , in ova 100 years its still restricted to a tiny corner despite a conserted & very costly , but in vein effort to broaden its territory

there there lads
there there

1983 is an interesting year to choose. But okay.

1983 - VFL Attendance:

SA: 0
NSW: 132,170
WA: 0
QLD: 0

2012 AFL Attendance

SA: 624,139
NSW: 361,701
WA: 781,357
QLD: 384,842

******.

18k at the NRL in Sydney. disappointing for two local teams

22k at the NRL on the GC. Very disappointing for two local teams who represent 2.5m people

56 k at the MCG, second highest home and away crowd ever between these two teams =D>

I think 22 thousand for the titans game is quite good actually considering how the game has been struggling a little of late on the GC . It is certainly a step up. Does show how good the Suns crowds have been though considering it is a RL town.

pretty average, considering that the broncos are the biggest team in the NRL playing the titans 30 minutes up the highway, easy access to the stadium, located just off the pacific hwy, plenty of parking & a train station out the front of the stadium, school holidays, nice weather.........
further proof League is dying!

Yeah Dave claims the giants v swans game was poor because the swans usually get 25k on their own.

Well the broncos get 35k on their own! What happened there Dave? :-k

Some good points but not easy to get at at all. It's a pain to get to according to many here on the coast .

Pouring rain at the SCG. Theyll be lucky if they have 20k there.

Easily 20k there today if not 25k not bad for GC in the rain, Queen-Eligha as usual waiting for others to post from the bum sniffer brigade so he can go "me too me too" pathetic schoolboy. And Raiderdave again so hopelessly fixated on telling us AFL dead he forgets outside NSW and QLD RL has no attendances in WA, TAS, SA and minimal in Vic. What an absolute wanker. RL expanding in ONLY NSW

Yeah looks a little fuller now.

KE doesn't comment on crowds or ratings. He knows that the AFL are well ahead. Dave just makes it all up
