Wow, I can see the usual suspects not liking this news. Thanks for sharing and keeping us all up to date Wookie. :thumbleft:

Oh and hey Wookie on another note, I’ve been curious about the tv ratings for all the footy shows for the codes throughout the week on FTA and Fox, and their value to broadcasters along with their halo effect. I suspect there are many more Australians watching AFL programs throughout the week based on the amount of AFL footy shows on offer. Would that be a fair assumption to make?

I’m thinking shows like AFL 360, On the Couch, First Crack, Footy Classified, Footy Furnace, The Sunday Footy Show, Sunday Footy Fest, The Agenda Setters, The Front Bar, Unfiltered, Armchair Experts etc etc on Fox, Channel 9 and Channel 7. So many AFL footy shows across the week to choose from that complement the actual game broadcasts. Not sure if you have ever looked into this and have any data to report?

Channel 7 seem to be making a much better effort this season with a lot more promotion of their AFL coverage. It’s been noticeable here in Sydney at least. The Front Bar every Wednesday night from 8:30pm and then Unfiltered following straight after on Channel 7 Sydney. Assuming in Brisbane and nationwide too. Would a lot of this be contra in the tv deal?

just when DAZN releases " official data " that AFL is making ZERO headway on the NRLs significant lead on the bumbling clown show

notice that theres no overall figure ... just selected days
the figure increase released a week ago is almost certainly it... 16% ... overall .. 4% higher then the NRL's
but..
as i showed , the gap was 100K in the NRL's favour each game in 2024 &

it ..still.. is

There was even less information when mediaweek published a 12.5% rise on Foxtel for the NRL. Where were you on that mate? Or how about when Sky only release NZ reach information and only for selected matches, the NRL crew are real silent on that. Cant wait for your nonsense reply.

also by logic youve never really explained before in financial threads, the AFLs 25% increase means its number 1, because, despite the NRL being further ahead in ratings, it had a smaller increase reported.

There wasnt and still ISNT clear evidence that corporates arent included in Allegiant, but im taking Rothfields word for it. I never ignored it either, I questioned it when the stadiums official data came out because i couldnt find any citation for any reasoning and people like you simply cannot be trusted to be objective. and thats putting it mildly.

Media reported the 16% - which you dont have an issue with, Media reported the 12.5% for the NRL - which you dont have a problem with, and now you have a problem with media reporting? get real.

You havent got one from the ceo of allegiant stadium either, so take your hypocritical ass somewhereh else.

the date on the fucking Bandt article is April 11th (to be precise - Published on: 11th April 2025 at 9:19 AM). Its 48 days ago. or 1 day shy of Seven weeks. You might not have been aware of it at the time, but that doesnt change the date of the information.

Overall AFL on Kayo is up 25% compared to last year.

how come we only get Streaming numbers
weird how they release drips and drabs here and there and do not give a full picture..

NRL did not even get a Figure LOL just a percentage.

(AFL closing the gap on NRL)

but this would have NRL still in front on FOX GROUP total with how big the gap was last season
