Well for starters there's this BS: "smashed in the TV ratings" which basically means you accumulated more ratings over the year.

You lot believe cumulative ratings are the only important indicator. We say they are irrelevant given no other sport or media organisation in the world uses or even cares about this figure EXCEPT for the NRL.

The NBA most likely smashes the NFL in cumulative ratings yet no one would ever suggest the NBA is more watched or more popular on TV.

So that's where Terry is wrong.

NRL: more cumulative viewers (whatever that means), bigger profit (which is irrelevant when both codes are not for profit)

AFL: far bigger revenue, far more members, far bigger crowds, far more assets, at least 1 club in each of the biggest 5 cities, highest rating finals, highest rating GF, highest rating home and away game, highest rating game on fox
