who ever the bookies say will win
will in the VFL
it won't be too long before betting agencies close markets on the VFL ... as it will ruin them it is that predictable
meanwhile in the NRL
a side that copped a 50 point flogging ... ala a Demons like performance (Parramatta) .. one week
backs up & knocks ova a top 4 side the following week in the Sharks
unbelievable

Spot on the money, My Eels did a Demons last week and backed up with a solid win the next against the Sharks who are one of the top 5 teams to win the Comp in 2013....wow NRL showing you can bet with us At Tomwaterhouse.com............

Apparently the only reason the eels won is because of the pressure on sharks players.....

6/6 so far ..............
bookies already contemplating not fielding markets for this lop sided garbage comp

5 of the seven favorites in the NRL for round 5 have lost.
Compare that with the AFL having all the favorite sides winning in round 2..................
Tommy my boy stay away from this garbage code.......... =D> =D> =D>

The demons are a debarcle, yet 51k attended their game on Saturday. isnt that about 45% of the NRLs attendance on the weekend?
Also, im not sure what the other pieces of the puzzle are

Record attendances for the first 2 rounds would suggest there's no problem at all

Dear Xman,
It seems you and your lot are of the opinion the NRL is just as if not more lopsided than the AFL competition.
Considering this and the popularity and ongoing nature of this thread I suggest you place this thread in as a sticky. If you dont I think we can all safely say you are fearful truly dont believe the NRL is more, or anywhere near as, lopsided than the AFL competition.
Warmest Regards,
Your King :D

As awful as Melbourne are playing, they still manage to score.
There's also an increasing fascination growing around the Demons. It's like a car-crash, people can't help but watch. 51k on the weekend. It wasn't the biggest AFL crowd of the round but it was more than your two biggest crowds on the weekend combined.

Great researching there Eels. Yes as I predicted and prophesised last year, the demons, and others, need to be removed from the competition.
Drac there is no comparison you silly git.
Marngrook teams score for missing

And its a much higher scoring match naturally i.e. much easier to kick a goal than score a try. This is fact, proven by clear stats whihc one cannot argue against.
But if we want to go down your dumb path then lets. Essendon scored the last 14 goals of the game against the demons. So lets talk a RL team piling on 14 tries. That'd be equivalent to a team piling on 76 unanswered points in RL. This hasnt happened ever in the NRL as far as I know.

what has 51K got to do with anything ?
Victorians are F wits , morons .... ********* who can't tell the difference between a woeful sporting contest ... & any Victorian rules
the 51K says more about them , then anything else

what ?
how can a side let an opposition score .... 14 times in a row ?
were they not fielding a full side or something ?
what
they were at the full compliment of players
VFL
a celebration of mediocrity
wall to wall average

how is it prophesied? get your hand of it, its a known fact that Melbourne where going to be shit,
the difference between the NRL and AFL is that the AFL actualy looks after its teams will not let them fall over, (Fitzroy was an exceptio), where the NRL will let a club fold or find new owners, it also not like the NRL doesn't have its own troubles with struggling teams,

:
you are right its easier to score in AFL but still doesn't cover the face that there has been numerous games in the RL this year when a team hasn't scored at all, wouldnt you class that as a bigger blow out!
