Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
AFLW is the premiere club sport by a huge margin.
It is far better to watch than the sloppy uncoordinated NRLW in which trys are either too easy to score or way to difficult with nothing much in between, a sorry spectacle indeed.
Look at the dreadful crowd figures for general home and away games.

NRLW is just pitiful and embarrassing.

Pal, give yaself about a thousand uppercuts. This is insane stupidity. Probably the most brain dead post of the decade. I suggest taking yaself off to a nice 'help' resort and take a break. You're cooked pal. Done. Baked. Finished.Bbear wrote: Sat Jun 08, 2024 7:56 pmAFLW is the premiere club sport by a huge margin.

the 3 games rated about 3.1 Million ... or about 30% of the mens seriesleeroy*NRL* wrote: Wed Jul 24, 2024 3:17 pmInteresting FACT

the mens series is worth around 50 million PA to broadcasters so the womens would be worth about 15 million pa atm
the NRL should be looking to get 100 mill for this series in the next deal

NRL must suck the broadcasters DRY to have this comp.
after already having it for free..
NRL will go to table with more teams and more games in next broadcast deal.
Women's Comp the Sky is the limit at the very moment.

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
Will be a big litmus tonight as Ch 9 & the NRL show huge respect to the NRLW & how highly they regard the womens game & cover the opening to this years season on the main ch instead of the mens game usually scheduled tonight
Newcastle V the Roosters
the ratings should be amazing for a womens domestic comp game

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
The reason why women's rugby league is so popular instead of women's AFL is that Rugby League is such a simple game. I mean all the girls have to do is throw a ball backwards & run into people. AFL on the other hand is very skilful & hard to master hence why it looks so bad compared to the men's competition.
I am still confused why the Matilda's are so popular. Soccer is a very skilled game & the women look bad compared to the men.
I guess the reason why they are extremely popular is because soccer is a massive international sport unlike AFL & NRL.

the reason its sooooooo much more popular petey you fumbling twat is because womens tanktopball is unwatchable .... its even more of a bumbling mess then the mens game
complete garbage
womens RL on the other hand is very very watchable ....quite the little spectacle
hence why around 700K watched the season opening game on TV ..... or about the same as 5 games of womens fumbling
take your jealous singletball pissy pants off & just accept the stumbling garbage you follow is being monstered by the NRL

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
I think I just said that.
I agree women's footy is unwatchable but the reason women's Rugby League is so watchable is because its not that much different from the men's.

creating space with ball in hand
running the correct line to take full advantage of that space are skills not easily learnt , but our girls have done this really well
the not so subtle skills like running hard & bone crunching defence they have in abudance too
& their short kicking game is usually on point too
that goal kick to send the game into extra time was a complete shank tho

just in general they are waaaayyyy more skillful then female fumblers

To be fair to the female fumblers they have a rubbish game to try and make look attractive. There are virtually no rules. No offside hence it looks like a dogs breakfast. No knock-on's hence its a drop-a-thon fumbling, stumbling mess with atrocious ball control. Very little structure in the true sense of other professional sports. No fair dinkum tackling.
The easiest scoring method in world sport by a long long margin. I mean in the other high scoring sport, basketball, they have to put the ball through a tiny hoop to score. The fumblers kick it through a massive set of goals at any height and if the dills mess they still get a point for trying loloolololol!!!
The only fools that put up with the mess are the southern brain washed bubble dwellers. Its unbelievable in its stupidity. But there ya have it!!!! The worlds ugliest sport!!!

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
How hard is putting a ball over a line & saying that's a try Terry.
I mean if that's not the easiest way to score in sport then I don't know what is.
At least AFL & like soccer there is a skill involved in between goals. Unlike Rugby/Rugby Union where all they have to do is throw the ball backwards & run into other players till they put a ball over a massively long line. Wake me up when that crap is over.
