They'll have no trouble doing this
This mob has no conscience
No integrity
They've had no trouble in the past rigging the comp.
Could never admit that tanking happened or was a disgrace that teams did not try .
They don't care how much the comp is compromised as long as they get the desired result .
Be it an expansion team is successful & expansion is seen as an enormous success.
Or outright lying about crowds to keep the success mantra going

They know that most of the cultists just nod & go along without question.
Lol we have one on here .

.they will prop the Suns up ..& I hope it costs them dearly in $$$$$ & more & more disillusioned fans .
The comp isnt really being compromised because the Suns cant keep their talent. If they were getting draft concessions and dominating it would be an issue, but they certainly are not

See this is why you fumblers are laughed at.
You have no comprehension of what a fair comp is .
Anytime a team gets extra on field benefits ..money or pick of best talent ..then that's compromising the comp .

There's no problems helping them off field ..
Facilities ...best coaching staff etc ...promotion .

For all RL faults we don't compromise the comp .
Everyteam has the same $$$ to spend on te salary cap
No team gets to pick the best young talent .

If your team wins the comp it's because they're the best team .
Not like AFL where the lions or swans won comps due to having EXTRA .

It's called a fair comp
Something you lot struggle to understand

It may be setup 'unfairly' to give them a chance at success, but that is not the result, clearly.

The AFL have rules where struggling clubs, irrespective of their location get assistance, which can include a priority draft pick. I dont have a problem with it. No one wants to see the same side down the bottom of the ladder year after year.

None .

Jesus you are blind or plain dumb .

I never said they have the same rules, I said they have rules

Priority picks and financial assistance are available to every club. Expansion clubs were given further assistance to compensate for their obvious disadvantages of being non-heartland states

The greedy Victorian clubs - take the money and run, put your hand out for the extra TV broadcast rights millions and then object to plowing back money and concessions to spread the gospel according to NSW born and breed Tom Wills. ( and Harrison ) . Their is tremendous objection from Vic clubs in helping sick interstate clubs. Many Victorian clubs receive extra assistance and would fold without it.
Total extra financal assistance money spent to prop up a lot of Vic clubs totals more than money spent on expansion clubs. Figures not recent but give a fair idea of monies spent.
Some figures - GWS $ 21500000, St Kilda $ 18500000, Suns $ 17500000, North M $15000000.

http://www.sportingnews.com/au/AFL/list ... 571k7t8k2a

The figures quoted above of $ 200 and $ 150 million are start up costs associated with each club not annual outgoings so stick with these clubs, rebadge and reinvent them if needed. One thing to do immediately is to ban Vic clubs from cherry picking promising Suns talent.
Mclachlan must step up to find solutions or step aside.

hand out fees to AFL clubs are rising>> Fast>>
it is working out to be about 250million plus per year of there 420mill broadcast money.
and that was the 2016 season..

GWS and SUNS are receiving upwards of 5-8mill more than this in 2018

while NRL is sitting at about
192mill of 400mill
as of 2018 as every club receives the same amount of 12million a season.
30% above cap.

The club's owners are committed to building a community centre which provides a significant boost to the local area whilst also creating a host of exciting new opportunities and a place locals and visitors to the region can be proud of.

Who will win the crowd battle this year on the GC ?

Will, the AFL very well funded .did I say very well funded THUNS get the crowds in ?
Or are the fans waiting for more $$$$$$ ..more this more that.
Maybe given some more of the best young unco stick insects to fumble & bumble their way around the field .
Or will the Titans who have been woeful the last few years win t battle
If they can play well (with no extra on field help like other certain rigged sports) then they should win .

Will be interesting

I think the titans will win the crowd battle this year. The thums are in rapid decline, they’re dead in the water and the AFL exec don’t seem to have the foggiest to what they can do about it. Suns should start playing in Darwin and transition there by 2022 with a name change to β€˜lightning’ or β€˜cyclones’.

Does anyone have any of the thuns numbers when it comes to tv viewers on the GC or more broadly in qld? I get the feeling it’d be disastrously low

All you have to do is look at the nrlol club revenues and those Casio sized league clubs!

Nrl 101 demand for government funding have a ground built, built a Casio near it claim its for supporting the club and local rugby and demand for more money to up date facilities! Then blame every one else why the code is so pathetic

League has leaches off the governments and tax layers for decades with bearly putting a cent back!

WA get their first stadium in like nearly 90s years that is for the state and several codes to use and it has you loons in a fit having dumny fits demanding new stadiums to be built for those embarrassing low level of crowds!

League funding 101 tax payer, pokes and fudging numbers!

It’s a no wonder league appeals to the low end rabble of society!
