there isnt much of a local League scene in Perth, its more union of the rugbys
Lots of South Africans and English who prefer their Rugby Union for sure. Twiggy Forrest is a big Union fan and financial backer too yeah?
twiggy is a band wagon man! he has been through a divorce of late and a few court cases vs some aboriginal folk with fancy lawyers from Sydney, some went his way and some didnt. but yes Twiggy has been a union man of the past but who knows what he is shopping round for to claim back on tax

Leroy will the legal identity of the club be shifter over to WA with its name do you know?
with the merger with the of fitzroy lions and the Brisbane bears, Brisbane adopted the name Lions and some of the logos, the still legal identity of the Fitzroy lions remains in Victoria and as a seperate identify
says google AI chatGDP thing
Yes, the Fitzroy Football Club is still a registered team, but in a different context than its former AFL presence. The club continues to operate in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), and also has a soccer club, Fitzroy Lions Soccer Club. While Fitzroy was merged with the Brisbane Lions in the AFL, the club retains a legal entity and a strong community presence, especially within the VAFA.
Good Question i think it will be something similar for the BEARS>
North Sydney Bears will be Affiliate to Perth Bears. (registered different i would say) im not 100% tbh
Perth will take the colours badge etc etc.. N.S.B will be NSW CUP Side.
is North Sydney Bears a team that plays in a state comp in NSW and act as some form of feeder club?

is it whackjob
is it ?
RL has more registered players in WA then union despite the Force being there

typical League fan doesnt like facts and struggles with numbers higher than 6
In Western Australia, there were approximately 13,000 registered rugby union players, compared to around 8,000 in rugby league, in the financial year ending June 2023. Specific figures include 2,785 adult and 1,003 child players registered with RugbyWA. In 2016, 13,371 players were registered. By 2021/22, this number had decreased slightly to 12,253.

Yes they play in the state league (NSW CUP)
and have grassroots through the North Part of Sydney
and now will be propping up the PERTH Franchise..
8000 registered players in in WA is pretty good i say for no NRL Team>>
you would expect this number to increase with entry of the bears 2027
also Numbers in Touch and tag in Rugby League should excel as well in Perth
remember not many people can play contact Rugby Union or League
