Then how do explain that the swans are well ahead in attendance figures and even with the giants crowds included (who are 12th), the AFL average crowd figures in Sydney are still top for attendance?

sad little sthn derpster ex pats who simply musssssssttttt turn up to scream baawwwlllllll at skiinny little white noodle armed unco tosspots for a few hours
attendances only make up between 1/ 10th to 1/20th of a sports following ,
its the interest past that crowd that matters & is the true indicator of what impact a team & a sport is having on the market they play in
& even allowing for plenty of onfield success in the last 2 years , the giggleball teams in NSW & QLD are having very .. very little impact

The only the NZ warriors have successfully risen to the level of overall popularity as the traditional dominant sport in their home market
Numb one for crowds domestically in NZ , every game sold out these days
Similar levels of TV viewership in NZ to the top Super rugby teams there
no other team from any other sport has done this

Just has a look to see what it is for AFL ( as I know The Gabba is less for AFL due to seating, sponsors marketing seating - like “the verandah” etc.). Anyway most sites, including the ground site, state 13550).

the... site... is wrong
Manukas capacity for the fumbles & derps is 14500
this respected site claims its 15000
https://www.austadiums.com/stadiums/
the midgets have played 33 games there & sold out ( if you include thousands of tickets given out for free ) ... about 5

Sydney swans? Most popular club in NSW.
Qld lions 2nd or 3rd most popular football club in Qld.
Suns doing ok in a territory where most sports fail.
NRL expansion club, Storm, done well, but really the NRL’s equivalent of the Giants.
Don't know why you keep pushing this crap, Azif you know what you are talking about.
Bombing the truth.
The Swans aren't the most popular in NSW. The NSW Blues are.way ahead of the Swans, much higher ratings, and far bigger crowd attendances as well as much more media coverage.
Ratings….maybe, they don’t seem to be too happy with it.
Media Coverage….maybe don't get the Sydney papers or TV.
Crowds….absolutely no possible way. The blues attendances are so low they wont even publish most of them, 14,681 at Leichhardt the only one reported. The swans average for this year 38,928 and will only go up. How is that “far bigger crowd attendances.”.
Are you trying to tell me the Swans get more people at games than the NSW Blues in Sydney?
The Swans have never once gotten a larger crowd than the NSW State Of Origin Blues in Sydney.
And sorry to prove you wrong, but the NSW Blues are officially the most attended team in NSW for home games.
Higher ratings, better crowds than all Swans games in Sydney
So time to stop with the fake news about the Swans being the most attended team. It simply is not true and has never been true. Ever!.

Yes, they use to play 2 games every 2nd year. but that is not the case anymore in ORIGIN
as NRL go to Tender and play Neutral venue each year.
Each NSW Game is generally sold out at 82k.
