Sunday night prime time for the Wallabies vs Springboks tonight and no AFL or NRL to compete with. It will be interesting to see the ratings tomorrow.

Channel 9 were clearly not confident enough to put the Wallabies on their primary channel, instead opting for 9Gem.

WOW they were not even confident enough to play an International v South Africa on Channel 9

i guess the Block is more exciting

Should do well in Sydney I think. Be interested in perth if it is shown there as lots of South Africans there.

yeah will be Live in Perth, always is.

It makes me sick of how many adverts have been in this Final series in NRL for Rugby..

Perth - not too bad. Not too bad for Melbourne either. Sydney's are not great though or Brisbane - considering RU is meant to be the second biggest code there - with such figures putting doubt into that I guess. But for non-traditional states the RU game seems to have done better than the NRL finals it looks like.

would have struggled to get to 400K in total nationally

meanwhile
the NRL final in the ratings grave yard that is sunday afternoon
got 1.2 Million & another 250K or so streaming for 1.450 Million

Can't believe they are playing a game against the AFL Grand Final??

AFL moving there schedule effected both rugby codes.

NRL was moved from 7:50pm to 4pm

And Union was actually switched with NRL Slot with channel 9

they could not play it Friday because of NRL Finals. only other option was Sunday.

Be interesting what it rates 8:05pm

Also ch9 have actually put it on Main channel as well and not GEM as previous.

i dont think it would of rated that much higher even if it didn't.. (the crowd was bored out of its brains) mexican wave was in full spin 1st half lol)
It was scheduled to be played in the afternoon, but switched because of NRL went to afternoon, for obvious reasons.
