State of Origin is selling really well for Perth this year too. Another AFL heartland state loving their Rugby League.

91,000? I mean it pulled almost that much before. And its not that special.
AFL games have pulled more than that - every year. Opening day of the Boxing Day Test has pulled more than that. International soccer has pulled more than that. Concerts have pulled more than that. The Commonwealth Games pulled more than that.

Lol why is that .
Their largest AFL crowd was actually 72,394 in Sydney between Swans and Collingwod. That was way back in 2003. They could have gotten 82,000 which was about the stadiums capacity for when it is converted to an oval stadium then.The_Wookie wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2019 8:30 pmNote that I responded to your post claiming that Melbournians couldnt comprehend a crowd of 91,000 in Melbourne. Im well aware of ANZs capacity and rebuild, and the Swans largest crowd there was 73,000 - but its got nothing to do with my reply.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2019 5:21 pmNot in NSW or Qld they haven't.
